| In the time of economic globalization, Chinese traditional culture still exists in the modern life by way of thinking style, of which the most typical example is Zhongyong thinking. At present, in the field of social psychology in China, study of Zhongyong thinking is still in the initial stage, and how Zhongyong thinking guide people’s practice is the emphasis of this research field. Considering the reflection is a blank spot in this field, and the domestic and foreign research of reflection are mostly aimed at teaching situation, ignoring the general living situation, this study proposed the concept of Zhongyong reflection, and constructed the structure of Zhongyong reflection theory, by logical reasoning and questionnaire on the basis of relate researches from home and abroad. The structure is verified by Exploratory factor analysis and Confirmatory factor analysis in college students. On this basis, we analyze Zhongyong reflection’s differences between in genders,professions,grades and other variables. Besides, this study selected the concept of cultural identity because Zhongyong reflection is the product of culture, and investigated the situation of college students’cultural identity using cognitive experimental program, and explored the relationship between Zhongyong reflection and cultural identity. Based on the above steps, this study get the following conclusions:1. There is a positive correlation between Zhongyong thinking and reflection effects, and the college students with high level of Zhongyong thinking have higher reflection effect than students with low Zhongyong level.2. The self-edited measure tool:Zhongyong thinking questionnaire is fit for psychometric rules, which can be used to measure Zhongyong reflection of college students.3. Zhongyong reflection exits the significant difference between in genders and grades. Specifically, the gender difference on the overall performance is male better than female; in the grade, the higher grades are better than the low.4. There is a positive correlation between Zhongyong reflection and cultural identity. The college students with high levels of Zhongyong have higher preference degree on foreign cultural symbols and more recognition of traditional values than students with low Zhongyong reflection level. |
