Cultural identity, formed among people who chronically live together in a national community, is a kind of affirmative recognition and receives to the most significant things in their nation. The core of the cultural identity lies in the nation’s basic values and the spiritual bond of the national community cohesion. However, the connotation of cultural identity regarded as the foundation of national and racial identity is confronted with unprecedented impact and challenges in age of globalization. However, the significance of cultural identity in the context of the world integration and cultural assimilation won’t vanish. To the contrary, it plays a more important role for cultural diversity and integration of the regional society.Aim of this paper is to elaborate and interpret the cultural identity in the deepening of globalization among the members of Koreans in the Inner Mongolia region and the function of the local social integration during national and cultural exchanges between the presence by analyzing the instance of cultural identity in the XianGuang Gacha Korean village in Horqin Right Wing middle town. This thesis consists of five major components. The content of the exordium is mainly about previous research achievements and research trend on the national cultural identity. In the first chapter, it expounds the formation of XianGuang Gacha Korean community and their living condition. In the second chapter, it presents the living condition of national cultural identity, through analyzing the using condition of national language and their daily life. In the third chapter, it mainly discusses the problems on national cultural identity faced by XianGuang Gacha Korean people. In the conclusion, it puts forward that the expanding exchanges of national culture in the context of globalization will make the interaction and interrelation inevitable tendency. What’s.more, in order to protect the national culture from the danger of disappearance and marginalization, and find their own space, every member in his nation should enhance the identification degree. This thesis holds a view that the identification to one’s own culture will be positive for multi-factorial development of international culture.
