As we all know, the twenty-first century is the era of knowledge and economy. In fact,the competition between countries is essentially the competition of science, technology andtalent. If we want to win, we must pay more attention to the development of science andtechnology, especially the construction of talent team. But nowadays schools mainly payattention to the knowledge teaching. The students just like a "container".For example, theyjust try to finish the task of learning,but seldom to think about the problem by themselves.They don’t have the ability of analyzing and solving problems.Without questions, theyexplore nothing and also lose the ability of innovation. So we should motivate the students’interests and cultivate their ability of thinking and operation and innovation.Senior highschool is the period of physical and psychological development from the onset of pubertyto maturity. So it is the key period to cultivate the students question consciousness.Thepolitical science,which has its own characteristics, is easy for the students’ positivethinking. So the political lesson can be considered as the breakthrough to cultivatestudents’ question and creative consciousness.This paper, which based on the study results,attempts to cultivate this awareness. Inthe paper,we combine the text book of the political with practice of teaching. Then provedthe necessity and feasibility of students’ problem consciousness in the political class at thesenior high school.According to the students questionnaire, interview and the author’s ownteaching, I find the problems in our political lessons: students have no consciousness ofasking questions; they are afraid to ask questions; they are lack of interests and even don’tknow how to mention the valuable problem. From the paper, I analysis of its causes from three aspects of students, teachers and education system. Five ways to solve the problemare mentioned in this paper: changing traditional ideas and overcoming the psychogenicdisorder of problem consciousness; improving the ability of students to cultivate thisawareness; creating a democratic, equal atmosphere to stimulate the students’ awareness ofthe problem; using a variety of teaching methods to promote this awareness; improving theteaching evaluation system. From the five aspects I put forward a systematic strategy and Ithink it may be operated well.
