Since " the basic education curriculum reform outline (Trial)"was promulgated in June,2001, the integrated curriculum of practical activity has been part of the school curriculum for11years. The early implementation of integrated curriculum of practical activity has made great achievements, but at the same the time many problems highlighted as well.On one hand it is about the system problem from the education administrative departments, training departments, research departments, schools and teachers. On the other hand the problem is because the curriculum design, curriculum resources development, teachers’ instruction to the activity and curriculum evaluation technique problem have not been effectively solved yet.To face this situation, the author tries to take the integrated practice activity curriculum management as the research object for exploring the problems and reasons and putting forward the curriculum management optimization strategy from the management point of view.The writer did the research from the school administrators, teachers, students, parents in the areas, using the investigation method, the action research method, case study method, experience sum-up method, etc, as well as my work characteristics.Research results show that:the existing problems of the integrated practice activity curriculum management lie in the following aspects:the agencies and system should be improved; the teachers and training courses are still relatively lack of power; and the course and resources are not complete; the curriculum management means are insufficient and the curriculum management effects are very poor etc.Through the analysis of the problems the writer found out the reasons mainly lie in the following several aspects:the awareness of the curriculum administrator is not enough; the administrative departments of education has not given enough attention; the teachers management system has some shortcomings; the conditions of the curriculum implementation are not guaranteed.Finally the essay put forward some optimization strategies of the integrated practice activity curriculum area management:Deepen the awareness of the administrators to integrated practice activity curriculum management; strengthen school integrated practice activity curriculum organization and system construction; rich curriculum management means and approaches; strengthen curriculum implementation guarantee.
