Study The Undergraduate Autonomous Enrollment From The Perspective Of Educational Equity

Enrollment system reform is the pieces of breach of higher education system reform in China. Autonomous enrollment which is an enrollment mode coordinates and Parallels the college entrance examination. As a significant measure of deepening the enrollment system reform, it helps the higher institutions select excellent and innovative talents, as well as expands the education autonomy. Since the1980s, the college entrance examination system reform in Shanghai always has gone much further. From the view of the trajectory of the college enrollment expansion of the pilot schools, Shanghai and Jiangsu Province has been pioneers and made useful explorations and accumulated a lot of experience. Looking back into the development of the college admissions system, we found that Shanghai play an important role in the reform of the autonomous enrollment, therefore studying the undergraduate autonomous enrollment in Shanghai is very meaningful.The same as the issue of all the new systems. Autonomous enrollment system meets lots of problems. It makes the reform and development of the enrollment system cannot achieve a Jot, especially the problem of educational equity is striking. For example the difference between urban and rural field, the disabled running system, improve the enrollment code, justice and fairness. Based on the perspective of educational equity, this paper uses the method of questionnaire survey, documentation study, comparative study and interview to analyze the problems below:looking back into the college enrollment system reform of Shanghai, summarizes characteristics, identify problems of the beginning justice, process justice and result justice. Then conducting a case study of E university and leading an in-depth to the cause of the problems. At last discussed the prospect of the reform and methods which should be taken to improve the autonomous enrollment system.
