In our country, the examination is the main form in curriculumevaluation for a long time. This “a test set for a life” system which looksat the results loses a lot of important meaningful contents in the processof learning and does not benefit in cultivating the student’s completepersonality. Traditional Chinese curriculum evaluation is too simple inpurpose, content, subject and the method.Balanced score card (BSC) is a comprehensive multidimensionalevaluation system which evaluates the enterprise performance andoperating condition from the finance, customer, internal operation, learning and growth. The innovation of the thesis is using the BSC inManagement Science into the research of Chinese language learningevaluation, and the BSC’s multidimensional evaluation concept can makeup for the limitation of traditional Chinese learning evaluation. Using the BSC in Chinese learning evaluation can develop the functions indiagnosis, motivation and development, no longer in selection andscreening. The content in this evaluation contain knowledge and skill, process and method, emotion attitude and values these three dimensions,no longer the content in written examination. The method combinesqualitative evaluation with quantitative evaluation, and pays moreattention to the formative evaluation, no longer the quantitativesummative evaluation. These changes are consistent with the curriculumreform and the new curriculum standards, and are more in line with theneed of students’ comprehensive development. The thesis designs the evaluation indexes and forms for the BSCwhich are suitable for high school Chinese required course learningevaluation from knowledge and skill, process and method, emotionattitude and values these three dimensions. And choose Ningbo Taihemiddle school as an empirical object, do a one semester’s empiricalresearch in a class as a random sampling in Grade One. The research’sresults indicate that through the BSC’s multidimensional comprehensiveevaluation can reflect the students’ Chinese level better, and obtain alarger amount of information which will be more scientific for beingbased on the data. And it’s easy to be compared in several aspects that canprovide key information for teacher to propose diagnostic advices, andcan supervise, excite, promote students. As a interdisciplinary research between management science andeducation evaluation, the index, weight, and form in the evaluationsystem still remain to be improved, and the data processing, collectionremain to be perfect. But such attempt offers new thinking and way forChinese learning evaluation reform, and enriches the theoretical andpractical research.
