The reform on teacher performance pay system in compulsoryschool has been carried out for more than two years, which hasbrought out positive effects as well as some disadvantages. Thisarticle analyses the background of this reform and brieflysummarize the practice and exploration in this aspect in Chinaand other countries. The research is based on the practice insome compulsory schools in Foshan, Guangdong Province, whichaims at investigating and analyzing the current state of how theperformance pay system is being carried out. From the research,we find out that the reform has gained positive effects as wellas some problems existing. Thus, we should analyze thedisadvantages and find out the reasons. At last, it’s our dutyto put forward some suggestions to help deepen this reform sothat we can provide a model reference to improve the teachersalary theory in China. |
