Along with the continuous development of various information technology, especially computer and network technology, the traditional teaching methods, learning styles and methods of classroom management etc. need to improve urgently. In this context, various online learning forms that take the network course as the carrier gradually developed. In addition, class is the basic organization unit and basic organization form of the school education and teaching, so, virtual class has become a very important organizational form of the online learning. Opposed to face-to-face class, virtual class refers to online teachers and online learners carry out a variety of teaching activities and learning activities around the network course through computer networks, to improve the effect of online learners’ learning. At the same time, virtual class is also an ecological system, is the unified whole that formed by the interaction and mutual influence between the two types of biological subjects that are the online teachers and online learners and its virtual learning environment around. Virtual class’advantage of interactivity, openness, virtuality and the flexibility in terms of time and space etc., can make the teaching methods, learning styles and methods of classroom management etc. have more choices, and can provide possible to improve traditional education and teaching.However, in the actual operation of virtual class, there was the phenomenon of lacking of vigor. For example, online learners have the problem of loneliness and collective belonging absence, learners who are willing to log on network course platform and carry out the online learning activities really are less, learners’enthusiasm of participating in the various learning activities is not high, communication and collaboration among online learners is not in-depth etc. Virtual class lacking of vigor will be very detrimental to online learners’learning, so, the research on the strategy of arousing and maintaining vigor in the virtual class has a certain significance.On the basis of reading relevant literature and material, this study carried out the theoretical construct of the virtual class vigor. In the first, the author put its definition: virtual class vigor is the strong vitality that is brought out by the interaction and mutual influence between the two types of biological subjects that are the online teachers and online learners and its virtual learning environment around in the ecological system of virtual class. Secondly, under the guidance of the educational ecology’principle, from both micro and macro view, the author put forward the features of the virtual class that is in the stage of vigor:From the micro view, the virtual class that is in the stage of vigor realized the vigor of the virtual class members, the performance is that the virtual class members have a reasonable organized structure, the harmonious interpersonal relationship, the strong learning atmosphere; From the macro view, the virtual class that is in the stage of vigor is the dynamic system that has the ability of self-management and self-control, is the expression of the benign operation. Again, combined with the performance of the virtual class vigor, the author put forward several influencing factors of the virtual class vigor from the view of educational ecology, they are virtual class members, virtual class standard, virtual learning environment, virtual class activities.According to the above factors, the author designed four strategies to arouse and maintain the virtual class vigor, and put forward the design points of the four strategies respectively. At last, the author carried out the case implementation to verify the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.
