Along with the quickening of Chinese urbanization, mobile children has attracted attentions from each parties of our society. When the mobile children migrate from rural to city, they have to deal with pressures comes from study and life, their psychological status will be influenced inevitably. Thus, the mental qualities of mobile children are the thing that my paper cares about. In this paper, we will learn the differences in mental between mobile children and local children by comparing the mental qualities of the two groups, and we will also try to interpret the reason why mobile children have mental problems from the point of Society Ecosystems Theory. Based on the domestic and foreign research results of social work, the thesis gives a discussion on how the social work of school can intervene into mobile children’s mental health, and it try to promote the application of social work in school.In order to know the psychological health status of mobile children in Beijing, the article aims to study the situation of mobile children and local children, make a comparison so that we can find the difference between the two groups of children, further to explore the reason why mobile children have mental problems. Last, my paper provide some suggestions in the view of school social work and Society Ecosystems Theory. By using MSSMHS and self-designed questionnaire, we conduct a survey of psychological health on341students from two middle schools of Beijing, including188mobile children and153local children. After that, we use SPSS17.0software for data analysis. Meanwhile, we have had deep interviews with some mobile children and their teacher.Basic conclusions:1. The state of floating children’s psychological health is worrying, more than half in investigation children are suffering mild or above mental problems.2. The differences between children in different kinds of schools are significant, and to the overall detection rate of psychological problems, local middle school students is much lower than floating children in countryside middle school.3. The main problems shown by mobile children are study pressures, emotional imbalance, feeling anxious and sensitive interpersonal relationships.4. Compare with local children, mobile children’s attitude towards psychological health is more passive.Suggestion:Firstly, social worker together with government and social organization should try every efforts to build the experimental school among all schools of mobile children. Secondly, all mobile children should be involved in the social work plan, social worker should enrich contents and methods of the plan about mobile children’s mental health. Thirdly, with social worker’s help, mobile children could keep close relationships with school, family, society, possess rich resources to improve their mental health status.
