At the background of the new curriculum reform, junior high school history teachingmodel is also develop and change constantly. The new curriculum "teaching advice" clearlypoint out that: history teaching is a model that teachers and students should interact with eachother and improve commonly during the interactive process. During teaching, teachers shouldgive full play to students’ initiative, and gradually to change teaching means and teachingmethods to realize teaching form of diversification and modernization. In order to set up awidely open teaching model, we have to break up the old traditional teaching model.Cooperative-inquiry teaching model in history teaching can bring active atmosphere for theclass, it also plays an important role in changing the past “chalk and talk”,“spoon-feeding”traditional history teaching model. In inquiry teaching model, the students’ position is moreprominent, through cooperative learning, students could also learn what to do and how tosurvive.Based on the study of inquiry teaching theory,combining my teaching practice at Yantaibilingual experimental school as a case. The following three chapters will show you thecooperative-inquiry teaching model in history class during the specific application. The firstchapter mainly talks about the concept, theoretical basis, purpose and principle ofcooperative-inquiry teaching model and the feasibility of the application this model. Thesecond chapter discusses the practice of cooperative-inquiry teaching model in Yantaibilingual experimental school history teaching: in the first part of this chapter discusses thetraditional history teaching model once been used at Yantai Bilingual Experimental School;the second part discusses the effective of cooperative-inquiry teaching model in Yantaibilingual experimental school history teaching; The third part compared the traditionalteaching model and the cooperative-inquiry teaching model from two different respects: theroles of teachers and students changes,and" teach"," learning" change; the fourth part basedon the author’s section practice class " comprehensive study of Zheng and nautical Kolumb"for teaching case to explain the application of this model, the third chapter discusses theproblems of application of cooperative-inquiry teaching model at Yantai BilingualExperimental school and puts forward improvement strategy.
