Along with the attention of the country in the development of rural economy, rural vocational education become morei mportant and county secondary vocational education become the most direct and efficient way in rural human resources development. But there are a series of problems in underdeveloped county secondary education in our country,especially secondary students’employment problems. Corresponding employment rate is low,employment level is low, the income is low and stability is poor. If nderdeveloped county secondary students have high quality employment,not only beneficial to the student’s own career development, as well as beneficial to secondary school’s stability and development,and can promote the whole social harmony and stability. In view of the experience in employment of the secondary school students in coastal areas have better quality, the employment work department of secondary school have the main effect.This study arrangemented and induced the existing research results, and comprehensive used of literature and survey research, worked out the questionnaire and interview outline, and did a large number of empirical research to the vocational schools’employment work of Cili County in Hunan Province.This paper is divided into five parts, the first part is introduction. Mainly introduce the research background, significance, research status and the innovation points and difficult points of the research; The second part is the overview of the underdeveloped county vocational schools’ employment work. To define these concepts of the underdeveloped county, county secondary school, vocational schools’ employment work and analyze the gole,the basic principles and elements of the secondary vocational school s’employment work can lay a foundation to the next step for the research; The third part is the investigation and analysis of the situation of the underdeveloped county secondary schools’ employment work. Firstly introduced the design and implementation of the research, then presented the survey results,at the last analized the achievements and existing problems of the underdeveloped county secondary schools’ employment work; The fourth part is the cause analysis of the existing problems. From this three aspects of the government, school, students and parents to analyze the causes of the problems. The fifth part is the measures. To improve the underdeveloped county secondary schools’ employment work,we should combine with reality,and put forward some measures and must perfect the action of the county government, secondary school, the students and their parents.
