| Employment is an important event, it’s the source of people’s livelihood. The aimof vocational school is employment-oriented. The preparation for employment is anarrangement and planning for the secondary school students during the study, includingknowledge preparation, ability preparation, personal qualities, psychology preparationand job application. In order that they can achieve their goals for employment or getsatisfied jobs. The more they prepare, the easier they will find a job, and the quality ofemployment will be better.The research takes the X vocational school as an example, and uses the form ofsurvey to investigate the current situation of secondary school students’ employmentpreparation. Analyzed by SPSS19.0, the features of secondary school students’employment preparation are as follows: Firstly, the secondary vocational students areprevalently attach importance to employment preparation. Secondly, they pay attentionto the employment psychological preparation. Thirdly, they take the interpersonal skillsand presentation skills seriously. Fourthly, they value the personal interests whenchoosing jobs, and desire for career success. Fifthly, they do not mind about jobactions. Meanwhile, there are the following problems of jobs preparation in the resultof statistical analysis: Firstly, the secondary vocational school students are short ofsocial practice knowledge. Secondly, they lack clear learning goals and can’t use theknowledge and skills actively. Thirdly, they have narrow concept in choosing jobs.Fourthly, they are short of employment information and the organizational cultureknowledge. Fifthly, they have specific job aims, but they are weak in career planning.On the basis of statistical analysis, this research discusses the factors influencingthe employment preparation for secondary vocational school students, and proposessuch relative solutions as strengthening students’ education about occupational values,improving the teaching effect of professional course, carrying out various studentactivities and taking full advantage of internet to carry out students’ career guidance. |
