The core problem of the new curriculum system is reform of assessment,"Based onprocess and promote development" is the guiding ideology of the reform of curriculumassessment. In this concept, the research about achievement assessment concepts andassessment method is full of vitality, and the research involves building the scheme ofachievement assessment is rare, especially the elective courses. Elective courses have itsunique value and meaning of existence, so, the elective course assessment cannot be ignored. Thispaper based on the module named “Language Application” in the high school Chinese electivecourse, and contact the textbook”Language Application”,trying to build this course’s academicassessment framework. Assessment content is one of the elements of academicassessment scheme, it is the necessary construction of assessment content before makethe specific plan and explain to the forensics way and assignment way of the academicachievement’s assessment. The development of academic assessment will need thesupport of the assessment scheme, and one of the core factors of assessment scheme isassessment content. Meanwhile, assessment content is the target guid of the teachingcontent and the inspection direction of teaching effect, furthermore, the process and theresult of students’ study also need to be presented through a series of right assessmentcontent. As the important part of the assessment scheme, assessment content is the keylink which connect the course content and the students’ learning state most closely inthe whole assessment, especially the assessment content in the no exam assessmentscheme. Because it emphasize the intrinsic value of the students’ learning more,and itwill not assess students by a final score. This paper trying to building the assessmentcontent of the elective courses”Language Application” in the field of no examassessment, aiming to prompt teachers and students do not only focus on the learningresult,but also emphasize the learning process which is the participation in wordspractice, so as to improve students’ ability of language skill. This paper starting fromthe characteristics of high school Chinese elective course “LanguageApplication”,analysis its function, value and course purpose, combed the curriculum standards in nearly20years involved in “language application” goal, then contrastsChinese’s and foreign countries’ curriculum standards, analysis and refines thelanguage skill elements in the elective course”Language Application”, then combinedwith teaching material contents and course objective to build a series of assessmentcontent, which faces to all students, based on the language discipline position,promotes students’ language ability.In the first chapter, this paper puts forward the origin of research topics, anddiscusses the research content and research significance, achievement assessment has animportant effect on improving students’ language ability, and the research of achievementassessment content fo high school’s elective course of “Language Application” can enrichthe theory of achievement assessment, and be favorable to grasp the direction of theteaching, especially lead teachers and students make appropriate judgment on learningprocess and learning results.In the second chapter, the related research results at home and abroad are analysedand discussed. Firstly, it defines the core concept, secondly, summarizes the currentsituation and characteristics of assessment research in home and abroad, then analyses theweak point in current research, and explore the research space.In the third chapter, it main through the discussing of course position and coursepurpose to make it clear that the high school Chinese elective course”LanguageApplication” is the reflect of the new curriculum new idea and effective way of improvingstudents’ language ability, especially the express ability and the thinking ability.In the fourth chapter, it presents the native language teaching curriculum goal ofAustralia, Canada, England and Chinese, then make contrast between Chinese and foreigncountries, then find they present a clear consistency in training students’ language skills.But there still exist some differences, for example, foreign countries pay more attention tothe training of thinking ability and Chinese tend to emphasize the ability of emotionalunderstanding.The fifth chapter is the core of this paper, it discusses the assessment content ofthe high school Chinese elective course “Language Application”. Firstly, it analyses thebasis of building the assessment content, its theory basis is multiple intelligence theory, itsfoothold is words practice position of achievement assessment, its principle guiding ispromoting the development of students’ language ability. Then, it refines the elements oflanguage ability, and combines with teaching contents, finally, it builds a series ofassessment content which covers the important teaching content and promotes the development of students’ language ability.In the sixth chapter, it presents the innovation of the research and the shortcomings.
