Textbook is the carrier of teaching content, in the new curriculum of elective courses as a necessary complement to the compulsory courses, has a certain value and significance selective course teaching material. With the further implementation of the new curriculum reform, language knowledge content as part of the teaching content to guide teaching practice of the application of language. Aiming at the high school elective course "Chinese character application module, the person teaches the version high school curriculum standard experiment textbook" language application "(2005 trial) for content, using the research methods of literature study, classroom observation, case analysis and so on, follow the theory, contents, status analysis, practical ideas to be able to guide language teaching practice.so as to improve the application ability of language students of language application, to improve the language ability. Current situation analysis of language classroom teaching and discusses the implementation of the principle of the application of the language teaching and the implementation of the strategy. This section mainly includes chapter third, fourth. The third chapter is the study on textbook, from the "Introduction", "class" and "toolbox", "try" four aspects of teaching material structure; in the form of teaching objectives and content of the form. Followed informal interviews, combined with the specific case investigation and research on the situation of "language application" teaching. In the language teaching practice with teaching content, focus on examination of students ’language. It proposed the teaching should follow the knowledge principle, practical principle, the life principle, the principle of interest, the principle of innovation. Finally, according to the teaching principle put forward the corresponding teaching strategies.
