"Ordinary high school language curriculum standard(experiment)" pointed out "guide students to strengthen the consciousness of the application, pay attention to study Chinese in life and other subjects of study, improve the ability of language application in a wide range of practice", this is for the requirement of the elective module "language use". How to improve language teaching to improve the language application ability, is the research significance of this article. How to realize the practical application value of language, which requires a teacher natural give full play to their individual way of teaching, its value is to promote students’ learning, rather than allow students to describe.This article through the author’s investigation and study to explore the high school languagethe teaching of "language use"(optional). "Language use" as an elective courses, the curriculum for the teaching time, there are strict restrictions, impossible as there is plenty of time, as shall register in the short term to complete the requirements of the curriculum standard, and to consider the student’s actual situation, which requires teachers to "language" teaching in-depth research, scientific teaching goal and task. For part of the teaching, only by our own subjective opinion doesn’t work. Based on the application language schools are taking teaching as an example, made a brief analysis of the content and structure of the teaching material, expect it to better service for the "language" teaching. The author is taken in the three high school teachers and students in the questionnaire survey, the authenticity and reliability of the results. Data statistics and analysis, the results of investigation on investigating the present situation of the first, and then sums up the problems existing in the teaching of "language use", such as the imperfection of the curriculum management, teachers’ vague awareness of the course, etc., and the problems were analyzed, and finally put forward in view of the "language" teaching Suggestions. Teachers’ teaching form to consider student’s actual situation and needs, can organize the students to understand through various activities to master the application of language, such as words solitaire, the couplet, etc. Hope through to the "language" teaching research gives some relevant Suggestions, which makes the teaching language to the next level.
