| Today,s society, pop culture is with the power of the media poured into the highschool campus. Pop songs have been exerting more and more profound effects on thecurriculum of Chinese. Pop songs have been an important part of the extracurricularactivities of middle school students, and they have the possibility of becoming invisibleeducational resources. The teaching of Chinese is supposed to be highly integrated withdaily life; therefore, the development and the use of related resources are quitemeaningful to the promotion of course reform. Based on such background, this articleexplored the integration of campus pop songs at this stage into the teaching of Chinese,aiming at optimizing the educational resources and methods in the Chinese education inmiddle school and making the very education closer to life, livelier and more acceptableby integrating pop songs with the teaching of Chinese in middle schools.The thesis consists mainly of six parts.Part One summarizes the significance of the research, reviews the past research andsummarizes the method.Part Two demonstrates the possibility of integrating pop songs into the teaching ofChinese from three aspects, i.e. Chinese education concept under the course reform, theclose relationship between pop songs and middle school students and the practice ofintroducing pop songs into campus.Part Three explores the possible educational resources by analyzing the lyrics fromthe perspectives of grammar, representation technique, language style, literarycharacteristics and humanistic spirit.Combining teaching practices, Part Four summarizes several ways to integrate popsongs into the teaching of Chinese and demonstrates several detailed practices throughseveral aspects including pop songs and the teaching of the basics of language, popsongs and the teaching of reading, pop songs and the teaching of composition, and popsongs and the comprehensive extracurricular activities of Chinese.Part Five elaborates on how to develop and make use of the educational resources inpop songs. Although pop songs are rich in educational resources, there are still manyproblems for integrating those songs into the teaching of Chinese education such as the quality of teachers.The conclusion points out the room to improve this article, summarizes severalpractical questions in practice and briefly discuss the prospect. |
