This thesis tries to explore systematically the originality connotation of popular songs on the basic of current relevant research,so as to introduce the popular songs into Chinese classroom,which could serve as an important Chinese course resource.Become a useful element for students’ growth and learning.explore the development strategy of "pop songs" thematic elective courses so popular songs in the language learning to play an active role in training students in life secondary language,improve students’ language literacy.This dissertation is comprised of three parts: the introduction,the main body and the conclusion.The introduction discusses the reason for selecting this topic,the meaning of the research,the current relevance of the research and research methods.First of all,the topic originated from my teaching practice where I found that popular songs were loved by the majority of high school students,but that there is a failure to exploit popular songs as a resource in the Chinese curriculum.Then state the meanings of the Chinese curriculum in popular songs systematically.After that,state the current relevance of the research from two aspects.One is popular songs are new resources of the Chinese curriculum,the other is popular songs are vivid teaching methods.Finally the conclusion includes these research methods,such as literature research,survey and interview,close reading and case analysis and so on.The main body includes four chapters: the first chapter,the Feasibility of the Development of Pop Songs Being Used as Chinese Curriculum Resources,mainly demonstrates from three aspects.On the one hand,pop songs with colloquial,timely,personalized and other distinctive characteristics,draws on the prediction of high school students to like it.Second,the importance of pop songs to high school students has laid a solid practical foundation for the study of pop songs as Chinese curriculum resources.n the third aspect,the author analyzes the theory and fact that pop songs can be used as Chinese course resources from three angles,which proves the feasibility of using pop songs as Chinese course resources.The second chapter,Popular Songs are Rich in Chinese Course Resources in pop songs,makes a systematic study of the Chinese course resources in pop songs from two aspects: the rich rhetorical elements and the various poetic elements.Firstly,analyze the rhetorical elements of popular songs from the aspects of language rhetoric and sentence rhetoric,such as rhyme,geminate words,metaphor,personification,gradatio and repetition.Thirdly,it analyzes the combination of "Chinese style" pop songs and ancient poetry,and systematically analyzes the three ways of expression of poetry elements in popular songs: direct acquisition type,word transformation type,and ancient poetry style type.The third chapter,the principle of combining pop songs with high school Chinese teaching,mainly analyzes the principle of using pop songs as curriculum resources in Chinese class.In order to integrate various forms and complex contents of pop songs into high school Chinese teaching,certain principles must be followed in order to make good use of this resource for practice,exploration and research.The analysis is mainly made from the following three principles: the principle of compatibility and inclusion,the principle of practicability and the principle of reasonable allocation.In chapter 4,the Practical Application of Popular Songs in Chinese Teaching is conducted under the guidance of the principle and theory of combining pop songs with Chinese teaching in chapter 3.Through specific examples,this paper analyzes the application of pop songs in Chinese basic knowledge teaching,text teaching and composition teaching.First of all,pop songs can be used in Chinese basic teaching to explain words,flexible use of parts of speech,prosody and other contents.Then,it is analyzed how pop songs can be used in text teaching to introduce ideas,create situations,create atmosphere and understand artistic concepts as well as to convey emotions.Finally,this paper analyzes the application of pop songs in composition teaching from three aspects: accumulating materials,forming clues and enhancing expression effects.The conclusion summarizes the significance of this research to teachers and students and summarizes the positive significance of popular songs as Chinese curriculum resources.
