Chinese Classical Poetry is the essence of traditional Chinese culture, and is the crystallization of the wisdom of the Chinese people for thousands of years which not only bears the weight of the ancient history and culture of the Chinese nation, but also has important aesthetic and humanistic value, is the natural Chinese language textbooks. In new period, during the context of the basic education curriculum reform all over the country, the teaching of Chinese Classical Poetry in high school as an important part of Chinese language teaching in secondary schools shoulders the dual task of the aesthetic and reading skills of students.By using literature search, questionnaire survey induction, case study method, observational method and other research methods, from the current situation of high school teaching of Chinese Classical Poetry, this text is based on pedagogy theory, starting from the aspects that are close to the teaching, which analyzes nowadays the problems of teaching and learning of Chinese Classical Poetry in high school and advances countermeasures.The first chapter, by analyzing the meaning of the content of courses and nowadays the content of courses of Chinese Classical Poetry (mainly textbooks), brings forward some philosophy of the teaching materials development that Chinese teachers should try to be in conjunction with the students’personalized actual, to study textbooks,to make innovative use of the teaching materials, to pay attention to the resource consolidation of the course and the development of the contemporary together with the aesthetic significance of the content of courses.The second chapter, through questionnaire survey, points out that high school students are lack of interest and motivation of learning Chinese Classical Poetry, with passive learning and poor learning habits and the current situation of the knowledge and capacity imbalances,which hopes to lead to the related education researchers’ attention.The third chapter, with the interpretation of the connotation of teaching methods and the research results, indicates some misunderstandings that high school language teachers ignore the learning entity of the students in Chinese Classical Poetry lessons and deprive the students of rights of independent reading and elucidation of the personality insights,always focusing on the education of monotonous and programmed knowledge, on the same time,the author raises some, suggestions, for example, give scope to the students’ entity, respect for the students’ individualized reading, encourage free dialog between students and text, and teachers. The fourth chapter, on the basis of the analysis of the meaning and methods of teaching evaluation, points out problems like the existing unsatisfactory teaching evaluation goals, methods, improper evaluation and a narrow scope of the subject of the teaching evaluation, and proposes the recommendation to build the scientific teaching evaluation system.Characteristics of this paper is that a concern to the vision of science and the development of language curriculum reform in new period, which points out the chronic illness of the teaching of Chinese Classical Poetry in high school, analyzing from different aspects of language teaching and research, and makes some corresponding countermeasures and recommendations according to the unhealthy current situations.I hope,this research, which can not only provide some reference to enhance the quality of high school teaching of Chinese Classical Poetry, but also attract more researchers to join in the study of the teaching of Chinese Classical Poetry in high school, thus contributing to the improvement and perfection of the teaching of Chinese Classical Poetry in high school.
