Although the New Curriculum Reform has implemented on for years, the News teaching in middle school is always a vulnerable position. Based on the methodologies of literature, questionnaire, and interview. This paper finds that teachers’ ignorance of News teaching is one of the primary reasons for this situation. What is the News? What is the teaching of the News? How to teach the news? The three issues are the main problems plaguing the Chinese teacher of the middle school.Most Chinese teachers of the middle school graduated from the Chinese major in Normal University, knowing little about the theory of the News teaching, don’t even realize the unique value of the News. Because of that, the lack of quality of themselves directly causes the confusion of the teaching goal. Therefore, the teacher’s first question is focusing on understanding what the news is. Then teachers should pay attention to how to improve the News theory and practical literacy. With the combination of the two elements, the students can understand and practice it well.Many experts or the Chinese teachers of the middle school have one-sided research on the news teaching. No one put forward a complete teaching system of the news which can be used for reference so far. According to the former research, combining with excellent teaching cases, the author is trying to give six goals of the news teaching. Of course not all six points are implemented in every class of the news, which should have some adjustment along with the increasing numbers of news teaching. Speak of how to adjust and change it, the author here takes examples by Wang Rongsheng and Li Hailin’s studies about the content of teaching.Later, the author cited Wang Jun’s cases of News teaching to analysis, mainly from the perspective of News teaching of the textbooks, extracurricular reading teaching, news writing teaching, news interview teaching. In order to get some beneficial enlightenment, hoping that could provide some practical supports for the improvement of the news teaching of middle school.In summing up, the essay is focusing on the major opinion, materials and the thoughts of argument train.
