| Journalistic works are highly rational and practical texts,which have unique language teaching value in improving students’ media literacy and critical thinking ability.The junior high school Chinese textbook,which was put into use in the fall of2017,organizes selected news essays into a single unit,and presents them in the form of a unit organization called "Activity and Inquiry",showing a new writing concept.This paper takes the teaching of journalism units of junior high school Chinese textbooks as the research object,and puts forward practical teaching strategies in view of the current status and existing problems of journalism teaching.This thesis consists of an introduction,a body and an epilogue,of which the main text consists of four parts.The first part is an overview of the "Activity and Inquiry" news module.Define the teaching of journalism units and their related concepts,sort out and summarize the relevant provisions and requirements on journalism unit teaching in the Standards for Compulsory Education Language Curriculum(2022 Edition),and explore the teaching value of journalism units.The second part is the analysis of the "Activity and Inquiry" news module.Analyze the arrangement of the news unit,and clarify the organizational structure of the "Activity and Exploration" news unit and its internal logical relationship.Provide direction for determining the teaching content and teaching methods of the journalism unit.The third part is the analysis of the teaching status of the junior high school journalism unit.Through the questionnaire sampling survey of teachers and students,the teachers’ grasp of the teaching value of the journalism unit,the students’ news learning situation,and the existing problems in the current teaching of the journalism unit were analyzed.Provide a realistic basis for determining the teaching strategy of the journalism unit.The fourth part is the teaching strategy of the journalism unit.The key is to clarify the value of news works and highlight the teaching characteristics of journalism.The following four strategies are proposed: first,highlight the characteristics of journalism and tap the value of journalism teaching: closely follow the requirements of course standards,predict students’ academic situation,base on the characteristics of news style and provide learning brackets for news works;The second is to rely on news activities to create real situations: linking real-life situations and guiding students to actively participate in practical inquiry;The third is to integrate multiple media and introduce news hot resources: multiple media complement each other and select high-quality hot corpus;The fourth is to carry out the evaluation of the process and results of public information activities,paying attention to display and exchange. |
