| In the current, the subjectivity of the students is weak in Junior high school art education, and in the curriculum development, the students’status is missing. Response to this situation, the author boldly suggested the students develop art courses as the main. The aim is to hope that by analyzing the characteristics of the curriculum development, the theoretical basis and development principles, to construct a curriculum development model in art teaching in junior high school,to improve our fine arts curriculum development system and the subjectivity of students.The paper consists of four parts:Part â… :First, the article analyzes the necessary for a student-centered curriculum development from the following three aspects:the learners’ needs,the needs of contemporary social life,the needs of the disciplinary system, and describes the relevant background. Then provide a brief introduction on the value and the function of student-centered curriculum development. On the one hand it promotes the students’ subjectivity and is beneficial to their full development, on the other hand, it improved the system of curriculum development in China.
