Ming and Qing Dynasties is an important period of the historyof Chinese immigrants, manyscholars research in this point. From a regional perspective, Shandong Province is one of themost active regions of themigratory movements of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Ming Dynasty,Shandong Province is one of the largest provinces accepted immigrants, the immigrants mostcame from Shanxi , Henan Province, and the northeast of China . in the meantime, large numberof native of Shandong Province emigrant other provinces, provides a wealth of labor for thesedistricts. Especially during the Qing Dynasty, large number of people emigrant in NortheastChina, which form a vigorous trend of pass through theEast tide. Ming and Qing dynastiesimmigrant movement hasbasically laid the source of the composition of the modernShandongProvince, while the majority of immigrants have a broad influence on various aspects of theregion’s economic, cultural, and social life.The reasons of Shandong immigrants during Ming and Qing Dynasties were common anddifferent , common reasons, first,the destruction of the war, led to massive population to flee,displacement of people. Such as the war experienced by the two Koreas in theprocess ofestablishing , and the war strive for emperor during early Ming Dynasties. Shandong region arethe mainbattlefield in these wars, suffered repeated destruction and destitution, resulted huge lossof population of Shandong; Second, natural disasters, the Shandong region of frequentnaturaldisasters in the Ming and Qing dynasties, in the event of drought, floods, earthquakes and otherdisasters, farmerstend to crop failure caused by the influx of refugees. Wars and disasters causedthe imbalance of the population and economic development between regions. In such situations,the Government often positive organize intervention immigrants, in order to achieve thedevelopment of the region. Ming Dynasty mainlyin a large population-governmentalorganizations, the province of Shanxi, Henan and other migrants in Shandong; Qing Dynastymainly to actively solicit the Shandongpopulation emigrant to the Northeast in order to balancethe Northeast’s population, Specific to the different periods of the Ming and Qing dynasties, theexistence of different social conditions and regional conditions, the reason of Shandongimmigration movement were different either. This article aims through performance and analysis of the causes of the Shandong migrationof the Ming and Qing Dynasties, summed up the characteristics and impact of theMing and QingDynasties Shandong immigrants. Overall, theoutstanding performance of Ming Dynasty,Shandongimmigration movement in a large number of immigrants from other provinces movedto Shandong. And passive migration inthe government action; large number of immigrants of theQing Dynasty, Shandong Northeast the most significant source ofimmigrants in the early Qingprisoners in the late Qingrefugees, immigrants accounted for with the increase in the number ofrefugees, take the initiative to the majority of theimmigrants.Ming and Qing Shandong immigrant movement had a broad impact, positive aspects andnegative aspects and positive aspects of immigration has made a great contribution to regionaland economic development, especially in theeconomic recovery in Shandong during the Mingand Qing Dynasty in Northeastthe development. In addition, theimmigration campaign topromote cultural integration betweenthe region and contribute to the development of culturaldiversity. Negative impact on performance has led toecological problems in the over-exploitationof immigrants onthe land, is not conducive to the development of long-term stability of theregional economy, caused some damage on the environment.
