In traditional Chinese building in the country after the opening of Western architectural cultureshock, disruptive changes have taken place. In the Republic of China, architectural decoration inthe traditional construction in the process of transition to a modern building produces a variety ofdifferent styles. This article attempts to horizontal bi-directional combing out style of architecturaldecoration of the Republic of China in Nanjing, and exploring the various styles of reason. Thesestwo sections date back before context, that is generated by the construction and decoration of theRepublic of social and cultural backgrounds, from social change and system transformation,effects of Western architectural culture, architect of the education and knowledge, to examinearchitectural aesthetic tastes and values. Chapter three emphasized text, language and itsevolution in the form of the architectural decoration of Republic of China itself. Concrete analysisof Nanjing Republic of architectural and decorative elements of several styles and architecturaldecoration and a part of, and through a number of case notes. Article is currently building a widevariety of situations, try to explore decorative possibilities of future development, proposed role ofarchitectural decoration in the building, and decorating must be "rationality," point of view.
