Changshan Archipelago is an important island of the northern Yellow Sea inChina. It has unique regional conditions and a long history, which lays an importantbasis for the marine culture. In the original period, Changshan Archipelago’smarine culture began to grow, after Qin and Han dynasties, Jin Sui and Tangdynasties, the marine culture had gradual development. When it came to Ming andQing dynasties, this marine culture tended to mature and reached the peak of theancient marine culture. Its ancient marine had various characteristics and thisculture was very valuable. In modern times, although Changshan Archipelago hadbeen in trouble for many years, its marine culture still continued to develop.Related customs and oral literature obtained some achievement. The Japaneseaggressors invaded fishing, which had some influence on the development ofChangshan Archipelago’s marine culture. After1949, while the level of people’s lifeimproves gradually, the island’s fishery culture, marine tourism are full of vigor. Inthis century, especially in the new situation, constructing the harmonious societythrough the marine culture also has a profound significance.
