Codependency will destroy the good and stable romantic relationship. Codependency originating from the original family is a kind of adaptive behavior to be developed because individual experiences more anxiety and distrust in the dysfunctional relationship. Its performance in romantic relationship is loss of selfhood. It achieves control purpose that is to depend on lovers and satisfy their need for taking care of lovers by the means of catering, dedication, combating and alienation.This research revised love codependency scale on the basis of Chinese codependency scale in order to provide tools for love-codependency research. I extracted a total of778students from college in Lanzhou by stratified random sampling method to conduct a questionnaire survey. There are two aspects in the purposes of the study. The first point is to understand the codependency characteristics of college students’ romantic relationship, preliminarily discuss on self concept, interpersonal trust, social anxiety and the relationship of college students’ love codependency; Another point is to analyze the possible effect of the above factors. The results of study showed that the revised questionnaire of the College student’s love-codependency has good reliability and validity. Love-codependency shows obvious differences because of gender, grade, professional, family sources, whether the only child and the birth order etc. Self concept, interpersonal trust, social anxiety can play a predictive role for the College student’s love-codependency. Self concept impacts on codependency by effect on interpersonal trust and social anxiety.Through analysis and discussion, the research can draw the following conclusions:1. The revised love codependency questionnaire can be effective tool to investigate of college student psychological lover codependency.2. Compared with girls, male students are more prone to tendency of meeting other people or controlling others but neglecting their own needs. They are easier to find the unhappy matter in the family in the growth process. 3. Sophomore students and Arts and PE Students are easier to focus on the object of love and neglect their own needs. College Students from the town are easier to perceive the unhappy matter and mood in the original family. the only child is easiest to percept pressure from original family, to abandon himself and to produce physical and mental problem.4. Self concept, interpersonal trust and social anxiety have significantly predictive effect on love-codependency. Predictive power of interpersonal trust among them is the strongest on love-codependency.5. Self concept will play the reverse prediction function on each factor of codependency.
