Objective:Accroding the study of nursing intervention on the peri-implanthealth status of such patients with chronic periodontitis using dentalfloss or Brush clearance after implant restoration,to research the effectof the peri-implant health status of such patients who use this way.Providing a favorable basis of health education for the care of patientswith oral implant restoration, thus ensuring the success rate of the implants.Methods:60patients with chronic periodontitis were selected from implantcenter of Stomatology Hospital of Jilin University who required oralimplant restoration. They were randomly divided into three groups A, B, C,n=20. A was the control group, B and C were both experimental groups. After the upper implant restoration, group A with conventional care, usedmethod BASS brushing law; group B with conventional care, used methodBASS brushing law combining with dental floss; group C withconventional care, used method BASS brushing law combining with brushclearance. Checking the modified probing index (mPLI), modified sulcusbleeding index (mSBI), probing depth (PD), marginal bone loss (MBL)around the implant of the three groups at1month,3months,6months,12months respectly for statistical analysis.Results:1、The control group A compared with experimental group B,mPLI, mSBI, PD at1month, the difference was not statistically significant(p>0.05); at3months,6months,12months,the clinical indicators differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). MBL difference of thetwo groups at1-3months and1-6months was not statistically significant(p>0.05); at1-12months, was statistically significant (P <0.05).2、The control group A compared with experimental group C,mPLI,mSBI, PD at1month, the difference was not statistically significant(p>0.05); at3months,6months,12months,the clinical indicatorsdifferences were statistically significant (P <0.05). MBL difference of thetwo groups at1-3months and1-6months was not statistically significant(p>0.05); at1-12months, was statistically significant (P <0.05)3、The experimental group B compared with group C, at1month,3months,6months,12months,the differences of all the clinical indicatorswere not statistically significant (p>0.05).Conclusions:1、As auxiliary tools, dental floss and brush clearance have long-termeffect than using only a toothbrush, they can effectively improve the healthstatus of the peri-implant tissue, and this nursing intervention may berelated to the long-term success rate of the implants.2、 Dental floss and brush clearance have their owncharacteristics. There were no differences in cleaning effect on the adjacenttooth surfaces, the right choices should be based on the patients’ specificcircumstances.
