Objective: On the base of research results in the past, the present study used fore visitorsof generalized anxiety disorder as subjects to discuss treatment effect of Meta-cognitionIntervention Technique on generalized anxiety disorder.Analyzing the psychologicalmechanism of clients, exploring the critical factor of treatment of generalized anxiety disorderand providing clinical reference for the psychology intervention on generalized anxietydisorder.Methods: It used Meta-cognition Intervention Technique to intervene fore visitors ofgeneralized anxiety disorder. It takes the scores of Symptom Checklist90(SCL-90) andHamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA)for the standard of the curing. And then, it uses theself-made Generalized Anxiety Symptoms Self-Assessment to record the experience ofanxiety levels, anxiety continued time in the typical stimulation etc. of the symptoms andtakes the results as indicators of multiple baseline experimental design.Results: After the intervention, he four clients have received the test of SCL-90andHAMA the scores of abnormal factors are lower than the demarcation;the Multiple-baselinechart shows that the four clients’ anxiety emotion and the anxiety continued time are alldecreasing obviously,four times in the nine-month follow up, all the clients had no evidenceof recurrence.Conclusion: the key factor of treatment of generalized anxiety disorder is the conditionalemotion and meta-cognition intervention technique is effective on the treatment ofvisitors’ anxiety.All the clients had no evidence of recurrence of four times follow up innine-month. It can proof that the Meta-cognition Intervention Technique is an effectivemethods to treatment Generalized Anxiety Disorder and the symptom will not easilyrecrudesce.
