Health is the foundation of individual ability development, the self-valuerealization and live happy. For our country, the national health is the pledge ofeconomic development、social progress and the country prosper. The mankind’sunderstanding of health is developing from in the past "Health is disease-free,scot-free, deformity-free" to now"Health is not only disease-free, but also includingphysical, mental, social well-adapted and moral ". With the deeper understanding ofthe health, the factors to affect the health have become a hot topic in the field ofpublic health. In1974, Canadian Health and Welfare Minister Lalonde put forwardfour major factors to affect health, which are anthropobiology, lifestyle, environmentand availability of health services. This view has been widely recognized now. Peopleunderstood that the occurrence and development of many chronic diseases are relatedto unhealth lifestyles, and pay more attention to the effects of social, physical,economic and political factors to health.The concept of health promotion was the first born in Europe in the1980s, whichhas been widely attached in recent years. WHO defined health promotion as follows:"Health promotion is the process of enabling individuals and communities to maintionand improve their health, it represents a mediating strategy between people and theirenvironments, combining personal choice and social responsibility for health to createa healthier future." Health promotion, including encouraging healthy lifestyles,building supportive environment, reinforcing communal action, reboot the healthservice as well as build public policy about health service. Health promotion is apositive lifestyle, taken by the people in order to achieve a higher level of health andhappiness, the level of these activities will directly affect the people’s healthy status.Overall, studies on lifestyle of health promotion in the developed countries andChina(Hong Kong, Taiwan) are more than the other area, and the studies in mainland(China) is mainly concentrated in groups of clinical nurses, check-up crowd, elderlypatients with hypertension, coronary heart disease patients, communal elder persons and so on.The studies on the youth, majority concentrated in the primary andsecondary schools, universities and colleges, vocational school is usually ignored dueto it acts the the lowest level school to train health care professionals. In thegovernment work report of2012, Premier Wen pointed out, we should vigorouslydevelop vocational education, strengthen building a modern system of vocationaleducation. As a part of vocational education in modern times, Vocational schools tookon the task of training a large number of skilled and grass-root workers. Thecontradiction between ordinary high schools and vocational school to chase pupils hasbecome prominently,so that vocational schools have to lower the access threshold fornursing students which resulting in the decline of pupils’ quality and professionalproficiency.However, the nurses are primary health service personnel, whether theirlifestyle is healthy or not, will direct impact on the quality of health service. Therefore,the vocational schools are necessary to know the situation of lifestyle of these"angels" in the student stage, the schools have a responsibility to educate and urgethem to adopt a more healthy lifestyle, enhance their own diathesis and make goodpublic demonstration.PurposesTo understand the situation of vocational school nursing students’health-promoting lifestyle, to improve vocational nursing students’ health-promotinglifestyle and to provide a theoretical basis for promoting health education level ofvocational school nursing students, specific purposes are as follows:(1)To describe the current situation of vocational school nursing students’demographics;(2)To describe the present situation of vocational school nursing students’ healthpromoting lifestyle;(3)To analyze the possible factors may affect vocational school nursing students’health promoting lifestyle;(4)To provide a reference to promote vocational school nursing students to develop ahealth-promoting lifestyle,and to raise up a reference of advocate the vocational schoolnursing students to get into the habit of health promoting lifestyle.MethodThis study used cluster sampling method, in May-June2012, carried out aquestionnaire survey with1232students in a vocational school’s three grades who are from nursing specialized field in Changchun City. Researchers according to《HealthPromoting Lifestyle Scale》,《Health Behavior Self-efficacy Rating Scale》,《Perceived Health Status Scale》programmed《Questionnaire of Vocational SchoolNursing Students’ Health-promoting Lifestyle》, which based on demographicdata,health-promoting lifestyle,self-efficacy assessment of health behavior,autopsyche health status, etc. After audited and uniformed number of the recycledeffective questionnaire, we use Epidata3.1to double check and entry data andSPSS16.0to carry out data processing and statistical analysis. Specifically statisticalmethods include:(1) a descriptive analysis of the data: the constituent ratio andstandard deviation, etc;(2) inference analysis:t-test analysis,analysis of variance,correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.ResultAs the subject investigated,the grand average is60.78in the Health PromotingLifestyle Scale,the standard deviation is14.329. In the comparing with eachsubscale,the average of Interpersonal support development scale is highest(2.05),then is self actualization scale(1.99), occupational safety scale(1.88),well balanceddiet scale(1.61)and the sports health scale gets the lowest score(1.00).The average of perceived health self-efficacy scale is73.52, and the averageentry is2.63. The average of perceived healthy status scale is7.22, the average entryis2.41, and the standard deviation of entry average is0.51.There has no obvious difference among the different sex, nationality, whether thestudent is the only child or not and the student has single parent or not(P>0.05). Thestudent who is in residence or not affects the Health Promoting Lifestyle Scale(P<0.05),there also has no obvious difference among different living cost(P>0.05)。Different grades, ages, source affects the total score of Health PromotingLifestyle Scale(P<0.05), and difference of students’ family income per capita has noobvious effect on the total score of Health Promoting Lifestyle Scale (P>0.05).There has difference on the total score of Health Promoting Lifestyle Scale in thenormal family,such as different degree of education,health condition of father andmother(P<0.05),but the different degree of education of mother and the servicesituation has no significant difference (P>0.05);The student who only has single parent has the difference in Health Promoting Lifestyle(P<0.05),and there has noobvious difference among the guardian with different degree of education, healthcondition and operating state(P>0.05). As the subject investigated, the Healthbehavior self efficacy scale and health promoting life style are directly related.Conclusion(1)Vocational school nursing students’ promoting healthy lifestyle is in a low level,inwhich the sports health care scored lowest;(2)In demographic variables, grade,age, source of students,whether to live on campus,non-single-parent, father’s educational level and parental health status, single-parentguardian and so on affect the health-promoting lifestyle;(3)Vocational school nursing students’ health behavior self efficacy showed strongpositive correlation with health-promoting lifestyle, vocational school nursingstudents’ health behavior self efficacy is the main influence factor of thehealth-promoting lifestyle.
