Research background:The incidence and mortality of cancer have showed a rising trend,and havebecome an important factors in a growing threat to human health. With thedevelopment of medical and healthy services, cancer patients with disease survivalincreased year by year. survival year of cancer patients with disease has increasedyear by year. Self-management model is gradually applied to the care of cancerpatients. Cancer patients’ self-care self-efficacy will do favor to improve the selfmanagement level in patients with cancer. The quality of life,coping stytle,and thepsychological condition of patients with cancer, has become a widespread concern.Therefore, this study describes the hospitalized cancer self-management self-efficacylevel of cancer patients, and to explore the relevant factors.Research objective:(1) Understand the hospitalized cancer patients self-care self-efficacy level of thestatus quo.(2) Analysis the impact of the influencing factors of self-care self-efficacy incancer patients.(3)Analysis of correlation between copyingstytle,social support, anxiety,depression and self-care self-efficacy of hospitalized cancer patientsresearch method:The study used a convenience sampling method,,choosing108cases of cancerpatients received treatment in a hospital cancer treatment center in Changchun Cityfrom Jul.2012to Mar.2013, as the object of study. And the study mainly usedquestionnaires to collect datas. Research tools include: Strategies Used by People toPromote Health, social support rate secale, Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire, Hospital Anxietyand Depression Scale. Data entry was performed by EpiData3.1, dataanalysis using SPSS13.0.research results:The study sample self-care self-efficacy level is98.37±23.19, positive attitudedimension score is52.90±12.73, self-determination score is10.47±3.23,self-decompression dimension score is34.73±8.61. Single factor analysis of varianceshowed differences of functional status,level of education, coping style, social support,anxiety, depression, and self-care self-efficacy level in hospitalized cancer patientswere statistically significant. In linear regression analysis, there is correlation amongcoping style,social support,anxiety,depression and self-care self-efficacy inhospitalized cancer patients.Yielding dimension,depression dimension,level ofeducation eventually entered into the multiple regression.Conclusion:(1)The study of108cases of hospitalized cancer patients self-care self-efficacymost in the middle level.(2) gender, age, religion, living area, marital status, personality type, career status,per capita household income and health insurance aren’t the Influence factors ofself-care self-efficacy. The kinds of diseases, diagnosis informed of the time, thenumber of hospitalizations, treatment aren’t the Influence factors of self-careself-efficacy.(3)There is correlation between the level of education, physical functional status,movement and self-care self-efficacy in hospitalized cancer patients.(4)There is a correlation between self-care self-efficacy scores and different waysof coping style, social support, anxiety, depression. There is positive correlationbetween avoidance coping style, confrontation coping style and self-managementefficacy in hospitalized cancer patients.There is negative correlation between yieldresponse and self-management efficacy. Social support is positively correlated tohospitalized cancer self-management efficacy. Anxiety and depression was a negativecorrelation in hospitalized cancer patients.
