Objective:To understand the health of employees in the food and public placesof Changchun City, we analyzed the crowd distribution in different gender, age andindustry, the prevalence of infectious diseases and its influencing factors. It couldprovide a more scientific and effective physical examination for employees by theway of exploring the factors that affected the level of population health knowledgeand health behavior, and further to seek effective countermeasures to improveemployees health quality.Methods:33,034employees who went into check ups in Jilin Provincial Centerfor Disease Prevention and Control from2007to2011were chosen as the researchobject. According to the related laws, such as “The Food Hygiene Law of thePeople’s Republic of China”,“hygiene regulations in public places” and “Thepreventive measures for the administration of the examination”,we tested illnesscondition of diseases by the different methods, including inspection of the skin, theX line chest X-ray, stool culture, and liver function tests (alanine aminotransferase,HBsAg). The prevalence of viral hepatitis, dysentery, typhoid, paratyphoid and theactive tuberculosis were focused on explored in this study.Results:33,034employees who went into check ups in Jilin Provincial Centerfor Disease Prevention and Control from2007to2011; in terms of gender,22,021women were selected, accounting for66.66%; the number in the age rangefrom30to39years old was more than others, accounting for30.28%; the employeesin public places was more than that in the food, accounting for65%; the employeesin the state-owned enterprise was more than that in the individual enterprise, accounting for66.21%; in cultural degree, mainly concentrated in the junior middleschool,was accounting for52.19%.In this study from2007to2009, the total positive number is430, the positiverate of HBsAg was accounting for98.84%, the rate of the active tuberculosis was0.93%, the rate of typhoid fever was0.23%. The positive rate of HBsAg inmales(2.02%) was higher than that that in males(1.24%); the positive rate of HBsAgin the food industry(0.96%) was lower than that in the public(1.79%); the positiverate of HBsAg in the state-owned enterprise(1.32%) was lower than that in theindividual enterprise(1.86%); the positive rate of HBsAg in junior high school(1.93%)was the highest among different cultural extent.The relevant data was analysed each year from2007to2009. In differentindustries, the positive rate of HbsAg in the public industry was higher than that inthe food. In different enterprise, the positive rate of HBsAg in the state-ownedenterprise was lower than that in the individual enterprise from2007to2008. Indifferent cultural degree, the positive rate of HBsAg in the junior middle school wasthe highest among different cultural extent in2007, the positive rate of HBsAg inCollege or above was lower than that in junior middle school in2008.There was no difference in total positive rate between2010and2011. The Totalpositive rate was14, the abnormal rate of ALT was92.86%; the rate of the activetuberculosis was7.14%Conclusions:1. In gender, the number in male was fewer than that in female; the age rangewas concentrated from30to39; the employee in public places was more than that inthe food; the employee in the state-owned enterprise was more than that in theindividual enterprise; in cultural degree, mainly concentrated in the junior middleschool.2. There was statistical significance among the total positive rate from2007to2009, and the rate was lowest in2009among three years.3. There was no difference in total positive rate between2010and2011. 4. There was statistical significance among relevant influecing factors,including the different gender, industry, unit and degree.
