Objective:To analyze the prevalence of abnormal physical examination indexes and related risk factor in health checkup population with different body mass index(BMI)and explore corresponding countermeasures for the subsequent health intervention and treatment. The warning singles of health may improve the awareness of participating in the health examination.Based on these, directed strategies and measures for prevention of chronic diseases will be provided. Methods:In this study, conventional physical examinations including blood routine, blood glucose, lipids, blood tumor markers, liver function, renal function, urine routine, internal medicine, surgery,ENT,chest X-rays,electrocardiogram,B-ultrasound,male subjects(gynecology)and women's cervical smear were all performed. The results were assessed according to common clinical diagnostic criteria.Differences among groups were examined using Pearson's chi-square test for categorical variables and variance analysis for continuous data.Logistic regression was used to examine odds ratios(OR)and associated factors.A p-value of less than 0.05 was considered to be statistically significant.SPSS version 18.0 software was used for data analysis.Results:1.Among the 34,979 study samples, there were 13,550 males(38.7%)and 21429 females(61.3%)with a mean age of 52.31 years(range,18-96 years).2.The proportion of overweight and obesity in female was 31.3%and 13.1%respectively,and the proportion of overweight and obesity in male was 45.8%and 20.3%respectively.3.The detection rates of abnormal helicobacter pylori,BMI,breast, cholesterol, blood pressure, triglyceride, blood glucose, urinary occult blood, cervix and uric acid were in the top 10 list of physical examination. The highest detection rate was Helicobacter pylori infection(55.29%)followed by the BMI index abnormalities(52.86%).At the same time, the abnormal detection rates of female breast and cervical disease were also high(45.55%and 17.72 respectively).4.There was significant correlation between BMI and blood pressure as well as blood cholesterol, blood triglyceride, blood glucose and serum uric acid levels.5.There were significant differences in the detection level and detection rate of each abnormal index among different age, gender and BMI groups.6.Gender,age,obesity,blood uric acid and blood pressure were the common risk factors of the detection of various indicators. The risk factor of hypercholesterolemia was blood triglyceride;the risk factors of hyperuricemia were blood triglyceride, blood sugar and blood cholesterol;the risk factors of hypertriglyceridemia were blood cholesterol and blood sugar;the risk factors of hyperglycemia were blood triglycerides and blood cholesterol.Conclusions:1.Helicobacter pylori infection, body mass index abnormalities, female breast problems, hypercholesterolemia, hypertension, hypertriglyceridemia, hyperglycemia and hyperuricemia were in the top 10 list of abnormal detection rates of physical examination.2.The abnormal detection rate of male medical staff was higher than that of female.3.There were significant differences among the different age groups.4.The levels and the abnormal detection rates of blood pressure, blood cholesterol, blood triglyceride, blood glucose and blood uric acid increased with the increase of BMI.5.There were significant correlations among the indexes such as blood cholesterol, blood triglycerides, blood glucose and blood uric acid. The indexes of single factor analysis were statistically significant. Then the logistic regression model showed risk factors associated with each other.
