Objective: To discuss constitution of oral mucosal disease category, clinicalfeatures and changing trend of each disease category, and provide basic data forfurther treating oral mucosa disease correctly and immediately. Method: Collectingclinical data of1868cases of oral mucosal disease patients at Oral MucosaDepartment of1stAffiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University during Oct.12.2007and Dec.30.2011and perform related statistics and analysis according to thevisiting time, gender, age, nationality, disease variety and constitutional features ofeach disease variety. Results: Total number of patients involved in this datamaterial is1868. Ratio between male and female patients is about1:1.8. Diseasesmay occur at all ages, with the onset age varing from one-month to88-year old andaverage age being among45.49±2.18. Middle-aged patients take up the mostproportion(46.8%). Constituent ration of patients from Han nationality is obviouslyhigher than that of patients from other nationalities(87.2%). Summer is the peaktime of peak time for patients with oral mucosal diseases, accounting for32.4%ofthe whole year’s patient cases of oral mucosal diseases. Oral mucosal ulcer diseasesare the most common, accounting for35.4%; the rest are: labial-lingualdiseases(28.5%), oral mucosal patches stria disease(27.7%), oral mucosal infectivediseases(4.7%), oral mucosal bullous diseases(2.4%), oral mucosal allergic diseases(0.8%), oral mucosal dyschromatosis(0.3%) and oral manifestations of AIDS(0.1%).Conclusions: The most common disease is oral mucosal ulcer disease. The femalepatients are obviously more than the male patients while the patients from the Hannationality are the most, mainly the middle-aged. Summer is the peak time of oralmucosal patients’ treatment.
