The pain is noxious stimulation from the inside and outside of body induced by body damage, which is a complex psychological biological process, is clinically certain a common disease symptoms. The pain is not only a feeling types of the physiology, but an unpleasant emotion of psychology. Pain is a warning signal on its biological significance, it means that body has occurred to tissue damage or threaten suffered damage, which cause a series of defensive reactions to protect the organism to avoid injury through the regulation of the nervous system. However, it will lose the alert signal meaning, instead of forming a kind of unbearable suffering for the body if the pain lasts for a long time, and people is impacted seriously on learning, working, eating and sleeping, Pain reduce quality of life of people, to produce a noticeable economic and social issues. Therefore, the relief of pain (known as analgesia) has been an urgent task for the medical workers.Etiology and mechanism of the pain remains to be studied. In recent years, with the rapid development of science and technology, the study of the pain obtained great progress from the anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, and social psychology as well as clinical observation. But it is so scanty from the viewpoint of biomechanics research in this area. Soft tissue tension is an important value in soft tissue injury diagnosis and treatment, and it not only prompts the soft tissue pathological changes, but is important parameters in judgement of the therapeutic results.At present, the research on soft tissue injury is not yet clear in many physiological and pathological, biochemical factors, so far, to the soft tissue damage has not a set of complete, quantitative and qualitative method for the detection and diagnostic criteria. Pain and tenderness is a the important basis throughout the course of clinical examination, diagnosis, treatment of soft tissue injuriesLevator muscle of scapula is a muscle in neck shallow group, located in deep surface of the stemocleidomastoid and trapezius muscle. On the top and the bottom of it are covered the two muscle of it, and mid of it is seen. The muscle originate from thel-4cervical vertebra transverse process, and stop at the medial angle of scapula. This muscle contraction on the scapula, while the inferior angle of scapula turned inside out, and when the scapula is fixed, it take the neck buckling to the same side and back, to maintain fixation of the cervical spine with involvement of the neck muscles, and to play a role of head posture. Levator muscle of scapula accept innervation of originated in C3,4of the dorsal scapular nerve, and walking with transverse cervical cutaneous nerve at the starting point of the shallow of it, transverse cervical cutaneous nerve is made of C2,3nerve, across the chest lock in breast muscle surface forward, branches of it fanning in front of neck skin.In wet and cold working environment or engaged in accounting, clerical work or operating the computer for long time, a long low-head working posture can cause neck muscle spasm, deep fascial thickening, adhesion and inflammatory exudate, transverse cervical cutaneous nerve entrapment. The transverse cervical cutaneous nerve passes through the deep fascia in the posterior border of the stemocleidomastoid muscle of the middle. Due to the transverse cervical cutaneous nerve is quite thick, and passes through the point of the surrounding connective tissue thicker, more resilient, lesions of connective tissue will oppress the transverse cervical cutaneous nerve, producing pain of innervation region.The clinical study tension pain of levator muscle of scapula begins and ends is selected a case as a starting point, to investigate the correlation of the soft tissue tension and pain. Take control of continuous treatment method, follow-up of a minimum of three months, the Pi and Hao needles two treatment mechanism was studied, and with the aid of tenderness meter and soft tissue tension apparatus assessed the efficacy of objectively and quantitatively, researched to form accepted, standardized diagnostic criteria for neck-shoulder pain.200cases of all the data from Wangjing Hospital, China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the male43, female157cases; age27to65years old, average51years old; in the course of3-7days, an average of4.56days. All cases for getting to be the criteria, according to the first treatment time sequence immediately elected at random to the Pi needles treatment group and Hao needles control group, to do the corresponding treatment and observation. The results show the excellent and good rate of Pi needles treatment group were respectively90%and96%, the excellent and good rate of Hao needles control group were respectively41%and55%, two groups of the excellent and good rate differences in a=0.05level was statistically significant (P<0.05), can be considered as Pi needles treatment group has better curative effect. Repeated measures analysis of variance showed, in the signs and symptoms score, VAS pain score, tenderness and soft tissue tension values of four indices, the differences between the two groups in the a=0.05level was statistically significant (P<0.05), through the contour analysis chart analysis showed, effect of Pi needles treatment group was better than that of Hao needles control group.Modern Pi needle is made of new materials to be selected-titanium alloy development, Pi needle therapy be specifically designed for soft tissue tension. Pi needle therapy can effectively reduce the local tension of deep fascia, Modern Pi needle leaves a tiny "slit channel" in the fascia after treatment, achieve" open the window to reduce pressure " treatment effect of releasing the pressure, therefore, get to effect of reducing the pain and releasing the pressure. Because the body of Pi needles is fine (diameter of0.3-0.5mm),the pain of patients is small when was treated, needling depths is controled in deep fascia layer, the hole of Pi needles on surface treatment is size similar completely with Hao needles, small damage, not easy to produce bleeding and side injury, postoperative adhesions are not easily generated, so not to easily form entrapment again. Which can effectively reduce the pressure around cutaneous nerve, lysis of adhesions, and not to cause more damage and bleeding at the same time of treatment.Finally eliminated stimulation and oppression of sensory endings, relieving pain effectively. When the tension of the whole muscle bundle increased, the edge caused by Pi needles method in fascia part can play the role of releasing local tension.Because the top of Hao needles is tip without an edge, the pinhole of Hao needles after is treated is closed rapidly due to the retraction force on fascia, has failed to solve internal high pressure of the fascia effectively, the effect of follow-up of Hao needles is not better than that of the Pi needles.
