| Objective: Acupuncture treatment is important for treating cervical spondylopathy. Inclinic, there are not many studies on the manipulating needle aspect. The purpose of thisstudy is to observe the analgesic effectiveness of articular acupuncture technique intreating cervical spondylopathy which was compared with the routine acupuncture.Methods:60cases observed were randomly divided into two groups: the treatmentgroup with30cases to take articular acupuncture technique and the control group with30cases to take routine acupuncture. The course of treatment was five days, and the totaltreatment was two courses. The curative effect was evaluated by the Northwick Park NeckPain Scale (NPQ) and McGill Scale before and at the end of the course. Results: After treatment, the scores of NPQ Neck Pain Scale and McGill Pain Scale inthe two groups were significantly lower than that before treatment. There was significantdifference in total remission rate of two groups by comparing before treatment (P<0.01).On the overall efficacy, the treatment group was superior to the control group(P<0.01). Thetreatment group has better analgesic effect than the control group. Conclusion: The articular acupuncture is superior to the routine acupuncture on theefficacy of cervical spondylopathy treatment. Both groups can alleviate pain, but theanalgesic effect of the treatment group is obviously superior to the control group. Thisissue does not only provide a clinical reference for further in-depth study of the efficacy ofarticular acupuncture, but also a line of thought for cervical spondylopathy treatment, andhas a certain theoretical significance and clinical value. |
