Objective:to observe clinical efficacy and impact on IL-2and IL-4of chronicurticaria wind-heat syndrome patients treated by Shi Re Qing and Xiao Feng San.To provethe clinical curative effect of Shi Re Qing and explore the possible th erapymechanism.Method:60cases were divided into two g roups at radom with the ratio of1:1.The first group with Shi Re Qing; The second group with Xiao Feng San. During4weeks’ treatment, the number and most diameter of wheal, the frequency ang duration ofwheal, the degree of itching and untoward effect were observed. We analysed changes ofIL-2and IL-4of10patients in every group before and after the treatment and wascomparied with10normal person’s. Results: After4weeks, total efective rate of the firstgroup is93.3%, total efective rate of the second group is90.00%. there are no obviousdiference between two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,there are no marked differencebetween the two groups at the level of IL-2and IL-4(P>0.05).Conclusion: Treatingchronic urticaria wind-heat syndrome with Shi Re Qing has rapid-action profile andreliable efficacy. Restraining I allergic reaction,regulating immunity, antiinflammatoryaction, Antibiotic effect, diuretic effect, relieving itching, Sedative effect and lighteningthe mood may be the mechanisms.
