Effects Observation Of Xiaofengyin Combined With Jiaoqi Therapy On Chronic Urticaria Of Wind-Heat Syndrome

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Xiaofengyin combined with Jiaoqi therapy on chronic urticaria of wind-heat syndrome and quality of life.Methods: 60 cases were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, 30 cases in each group. The control group was given Qufengzhiyang oral liquid and Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride Dispersible Tablets while the treatment group received Xaiofengyin and Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride Dispersible Tablets combined with Jiaoqi therapy, for 4 weeks. Two groups were both observed changes before and after treatment of wheal itching degree, size, number, duration, seizure frequency and Quality of Life Scale scores. All data were analyzed with SPSS 17.0.Results: 1. After 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment, symptom scores of both groups declined while the treatment group showed more significant declination(P<0.05). 2. The treatment group had significantly higher effective rate and cure rate(P<0.05) and lower recurrence rate than the control group(P<0.05). 3. Quality of life of patients in both groups got improved(P<0.05), with the treatment group superior to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion: Xaiofengyin and Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride Dispersible Tablets combined with Jiaoqi therapy, as well as Qufengzhiyang oral liquid and Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride Dispersible Tablets both shows favorable effects on chronic urticaria of wind-heat syndrome, with the treatment group significantly better than the control group about clinical effects, quality of life scores and recurrence rate.
