| Objective:To Observe the clinical effect of electrical acupuncture and analysis the mechanism of acupuncture in the treatment of knee osteoarthritisMethods:The study involved60cases of Knee osteoarthritis Patients who were randomly divided into treatment group (electrical acupuncture group) and control group(traditional acupuncture group). There were30cases in each group. Treatment was30days. Two groups treatment results would be assessed by WOMAC. Observe and compare the appraisal score before treatments and after the treatments between the two groups. The data was processed by SPSS16.0package.Results:1. The total effective rate was96.7%in the treatment group, versus86.7%in the control group, and the inter-group comparison showed-significant differences (P<0.05)2.The inter-group comparison detected significant differences on WOMAC between pre-treatment and post-treatment in the two groups (P<0.05)Conclusion:1、The scores of WOMAC in the two groups all decreased after treatment, with a better result in the treatment group compared.2、Treatment group significantly reduced joint pain, relieved joint stiffness and improve the function of knee joint. |
