[Objective]1. To study the influence factors of the quality of life (QOL) with type2diabetes mellitus, that involved the individual status, biochemical parameters, chronic complications and traditional Chinese medicine differentiations.2. Especially to compare the influence of QOL in different differentiations.[Methods]To measure the QOL by WHOQOL-100and diabetes specific quality of life scale (DSQL) of the clinic and ward patients in Peking Union Medical College Hospital from July to December in2011, at the same time, collect the characteristics of the individual status, biochemical parameters, chronic complications and traditional Chinese medicine differentiations. To research the influence factors of QOL by multiple stepwise regression analysis, and especially to study on the relationship between the QOL and differentiations.[Results]1. The influence factors of QOL with type2diabetes mellitus1.1By single factor analysis, the influence factors of QOL are gender, age, course of disease, administration time, income, educational background, FBG,2hPBG, ALB, Scr, DN, DR, DPN, hypertension, blood lipid abnormality, stroke,CHD, CRF (P<0.05-0.001)1.2By multiple stepwise regression analysis, the influence factors of QOL are gender, age, educational background, income, ALB, DPN, DN, hypertension, stroke, CRF. The decreased factors of QOL are female, ageing, being DPN, being DN, being hypertension, being stroke, being CHD, being CRF. The increased factors of QOL are male, higher educational background, more income, increased ALB.2. Differentiations effecting on QOL with type2diabetes mellitus1.1By single factor analysis, the differentiations effecting on QOL are stagnation of liver-energy, dryness-heat, qi-def iciency, yin-def iciency, blood-sta sis, yang-deficiency, kidney-dificiency and phlegm dampness (P<0.05-0.001)1.2By multiple stepwise regression analysis, the differentiations effecting on QOL are liver-energy, dryness-heat, qi-deficiency, yin-deficiency, blood-sta sis and yang-deficiency. The QOL are decreased with above mentioned differentiations.1.3The differentiations affecting the QOL in the same domain both in WHOQOL-100and DSQL at the same time are stagnation of liver-energy(physiological, psychology and social domain), dryness-heat(physiological, psychology and social domain), qi-deficiency(physiological and psychology domain).3. The QOL is lower in deficiency-and-positive differentiation patients in physical domain and total quality of life than in deficiency differentiation, positive differentiation or no syndrome patients (P<0.05).[Conclusions]1. The influence factors of QOL with type2diabetes mellitus are gender, age, educational background, income, ALB, DPN, DN, hypertension, stroke, CRF.2. Stagnation of liver-energy, dryness-heat and qi-deficiency have more effect of QOL than the other differentiations.3. The QOL is lower in deficiency-and-positive differentiation patients in physical domain and total quality of life than in deficiency differentiation, positive differentiation or no syndrome patients.
