Study On The Optimization Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Quality Of Life Scale For Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Based On Delphi Method

Objective: To develop the Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Quality of Life Scale with TCM characteristics,the purpose is to further update,verify and optimize the special scale formed earlier by the research team,and to provide a reference standard and tool for the disease symptom change and quality of life evaluation of clinical Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis patients.Methods: Based on the principles of the development of the International Quality of Life Scale and the previous research results of the team,to constructe the concept and theoretical model framework of the scale through the establishment of research groups and inter-group discussions.Then,through consulting the relevant literature,reviewing of past cases,conducting interviews with patients and their families,experts put forward items according to their personal experience and other ways to establish a alternative item pool of the scale.After that,the scale items will be screened through Delphi expert consultation and clinical investigation,so as to form the preliminary and final scale of TCM Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis successively.At the same time,the feasibility,reliability and validity of the scale will be scientifically evaluated,and the development of the quality of life scale of TCM idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis will be preliminarily completed.Results: The quality of life scale of TCM idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis covers 5 domains /dimensions of symptoms and signs,physiological function,emotion,society and environment,and extends 10 aspects of disease specific clinical manifestations,systemic clinical manifestations,treatment dependence,daily activity ability,mental activity level,positive feelings,negative feelings,social relations,satisfaction and environmental pollution,with a total of 64 items.The recovery rate and effective completion rate of the clinical questionnaire were 100%,the average filling time was 22 min,the overall Cronbach's ? of the scale was0.970,the symptoms and signs field was 0.958,the physiological function field was 0.928,the emotion field was 0.828,the society field was 0.862,and the environment field was 0.812.The front and back half coefficient of total scale was 0.888,and the half coefficient of symptom and sign field,physiological function field,emotion field,society field and environment field were 0.967,0.918,0.843,0.693 and 0.717 respectively.The correlation coefficient between each field and the total table was above 0.4.The Pearson correlation coefficient between TCM-IPF-QOL scale and m MRC scale was 0.803,p<0.01.The results show that TCM-IPF-QOL scale is feasible,reliable and valid.To some extent,it reflects the connotation of health-related quality of life and the related issues of IPF disease.It is preliminarily suggested that TCM-IPF-QOL scale can be used as an effective tool to evaluate the quality of life of IPF patients.Conclusion:1.The team achieved the goal of updating,validating,and optimizing the IPF special scale for quality of life formed by the team at the early stage.2.After preliminary evaluation,the results show that TCM-IPF-QOL scale is feasible,has high reliability and validity,and can be used to evaluate the quality of life of clinical IPF patients.3.The TCM-IPF-QOL scale can further enrich the evaluation system of TCM efficacy while completing the summary and verification of previous relevant scales,and has certain reference value for the study of TCM quality of life evaluation standards.
