The Expression And Meaning Of Annexin A3in The Gastric Cancer

Objective:Gastric cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in China and the global.it has higher mortality as well as incidence. The number of people died of gastric cancer is in the second of the number of people died of all cancers globally every year.Its treatment is still unsatisfactory.Gastric cancer research on the molecular level may provide new help for the treatment of gastric cancer and also help to assess the prognosis of gastric cancer patients so that we can achieve the goal of improving the treatment of gastric cancer.The Annexins family is a kind of proteins which widely exist in plants and animals.Many members have been confirmed to play different roles in different tumor development.lt has also been confirmed that they are widely involved in a variety of physiological and pathological processes.People has found that some members are linked with the occurrence,development, Metastasis and prognosis of the gastric cancer. The Annexins family including Annexin A1、Annexin A2Annexin A7、Annexin A10have some related to gastric cancer tissuesThis paper aims to study expression of Annexin A3in the gastric cancer tissues and the paraneoplastic relative normal tissues and its clinical significance. By studying and discussing its relationship with Annexin A3,tumor stage, patient sex and age, tumor invasion depth and other factors we can provide a new way to study the development and metastasis of gastric cancers.Methods:There are36cases of gastric cancer surgical specimens Collected from the department of the Second Xiangya Hospital from June2011to December2011.Each patient did not receive any radiotherapy and chemotherapy before the surgery.We counterpose each case to its corresponding paraneoplastic tissues.After the removal of the specimen,the10%formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded, serial sections.The clinical and pathological data such as gender, age, histological grade, lymph node metastasis are respectively from the surgical records, case record,and pathology report.The SP method is used to detect the Annexin A3’s expression differences between gastric cancer tissues and corresponding paraneoplastic tissues.Results:The expression of Annexin A3protein has no significant correlation with patients’gender, age, depth of invasion (P>0.05), Its expression in gastric cancer tissues was significantly higher than in adjacent normal epithelial tissue,and the expression level is related to the degree of differentiation of gastric cancer.The lower the degree of differentiation is,the higher Annexin A3’s expression level is,.The expression level with lymph node metastasis group was significantly higher than that without lymph node metastasis group (P<0.05).Conclusions:(1)The high expression of Annexin A3in gastric carcinoma is not associated with the gender, age, depth of invasion of the gastric cancer patients but associated with the lymph node metastasis and the histological differentiation of gastric cancer patients.(2) The high expression of Annexin A3may play an important role in the development of the gastric cancer...
