| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of HuazhuoJiedu decoction in treatingtype2diabetes mellitus combined with hyperlipemia. in order to find the reliable way todiscuss Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment for type2diabetes mellituscombined with hyperlipemia.Methods: The60patients with type2diabetes mellitus combined with hyperlipemia，who had been chosen into this clinical research,were randomly divided into two groups,the treatment group and the control group.Each group had30cases.On the base of thesame diabetes diet and exercise therapy，the patients of control group were treated withmetformin and simvastatin,based on the control group,the patients of the treatment groupwere added to HuaZhuojiedu decoction. With a period of2months’ treatment,we couldobserve the patients’ change on the TCM syndrome, blood glucose（FPG、2hPG）、bloodlipid（TC、TG、LDL-C、HDL-C）、HbA1c、BMI and other indicators，and analyze thesedatas with statistic methods.Results: After the treatment of2months, the blood glucose, blood lipid, clinical TCMsyndrome and BMI of the two groups had been both improved, but they were different （P＜0.05）, and the treatment group was better than the control group. There were significantdifferences（P＜0.05） in the efficacy of TCM symotoms between the two groups, but thetreatment group was better than the control group. There were not differences（P＞0.05）between the two groups in improving the HbA1c of patients. Safety evaluation:There wereno side effects discovered in both groups during the treatment. Conclusions: HuazhuoJiedu decoction made an important role in improving the bloodglucose and blood lipid levels of patients with type2diabetes mellitus combined withhyperlipemia.while the treatment group was significantly better than the control group inimproving traditional Chinese medicine symptom.For the Preliminaly view, HuaZhuoJieDu decoction is an effective prescription in treating type2diabetes mellitus combinedwith hyperlipemia. |
