| Objective: Cable-Pin and AO tension with patellar fracture treatment efficacyobserved from the operation time, fracture healing time, postoperative complications, andknee function analysis, summed up the two kinds of internal fixation methods advantagesand disadvantages, the choice of patellar fracture with internal fixation to provide areference. Methods: A retrospective analysis of patients the hospital in April2010~October2011were followed up for record of the patella fracture above the crowd in line with the43cases of patients with patellar fracture diagnostic criteria, and to take a simple randomsampling method to select samples, divided into Cable-the Pin system group (group A) andAO tension band group (group B). Group A20cases of elective given the Cable-Pin openreduction and internal fixation; B group of23cases of elective given the AO tension withopen reduction and internal fixation. Postoperative rational use of antibiotics, CPM theAccessibility exercise and Chinese Herbs wash treatment, follow-up of6to16months,with an average of12months. From the operation time, fracture healing time, postoperative complications and knee function in comparison. And analyzed statistically toevaluate the two methods. Results: The incidence of postoperative complications, group A postoperativecomplication rate was significantly lower than group B; fracture healing time and kneefunction in the operation time, p>0.05, group A and group B had no significantdifferences. Conclusion: advantages and disadvantages of Cable-Pin and AO tension with thetreatment of patellar fractures, Cable-Pin system for the treatment of patellar fracture after surgery fewer complications, rigid fixation, but expensive. AO tension band group price ischeap, but postoperative complications have occurred, such as: needles and needle tail iseasy to stimulate soft tissue, and Kirschner wire pull-out wire breakage. |
