Objectives: To master the current situation of turnover intention of the communityhealth service staff in Anhui Province, this essay analyzes the relationship betweenturnover intention and demographic characteristics and explores the influencing factorsof the turnover intention, and provide a scientific basis for the formulation of relevantpolicies of the community health workforce.Methods: According to the number of the cities and community health service centersin the12cities in Anhui Province, I use the sampling method at random pro rata (25%),choose some community health service centers to be the investigated scene. At the sametime, choose one of the community health service centers under the community healthservice stations randomly. All the staff in community health service centers is therespondent of investigation. I use the self-made questionnaire and investigated deeply atscene investigators from June to November2009and sent out questionnaires at the site.Let the respondents filled the questionnaires anonymously and sealed in the envelopeand put into the specified ballot box. After that the investigators unified the box. Thistime I surveyed111community health service institutions (centers57, station54),health service staff of1109people (centers881, station228)Results:①79.8%of those surveyed answered willing to continue to engage in worknow,4.3%of the survey to answer unwilling to continue to engage in the work now;②different human relations (χ~2=6.777, p=0.148), titles (χ~2=1.759, p=0.940) and jobs(χ~2=7.013, p=0.535), the survey turnover intention was no significant difference;③different gender (χ~2=10.040, p=0.007), marital status (χ~2=17.447,p=0.002), engaged in community health service (χ~2=16.816, p=0.002), the survey turnoverintention difference was statistically significant; education level (Linear-by LinearAssociation Value=8.524, p=0.004) and turnover intention as a positive linearrelationship;age (Linear-by Linear Association Value=10.585, p=0.001) and turnoverintention as a negative linear relationship;④the Logistic regression analysis found that:sex, age and number of years in community health services turnover intention.Compared with women, men leaving tendency is1.866times that of women; comparedwith55years of age group <25years and25years old group turnover intention were55years old group2.227times and2.529times; and engaged in community health sixyears of service~group compared to <3years was1.737times of six years~group.Conclusions:①O n the subjective state of mind, the city CHS staff in Anhui Province isbetter stability;②The leaving tendency of men is higher than women;(3) The degree ofculture and turnover intention is positive linear relationship;④The age and turnoverintention is negative linear relationship;⑤Theturnover intention of unmarried higherthan those in the marriage;⑥The turnover intention of staff those engaged incommunity service less than three years is higher than those work for3years andover;⑦The gender, age and number of years in communityhealth services are thefactors which affecting turnover intention.Recommendations:①Improve the practice environment of the community healthservice institutions;②Perfect the on-the-job education, and promote the career ofdevelopment of community health workers;③Enhance community health workersoccupational identity;④Establish a fair and reasonable allocation mechanism.
