Objective: To understand the demographic characteristics and the current situation of the turnover intention of nurses in private hospitals, explore and analyze the influencing factors of turnover intentions,and Put forward some intervention measures target, and providethe basis for the imp- lementation of the management of nursing human resources.Method:1 By cluster method of convenience sampling, 956 nurses in 7 private h- ospitals in a city as the object of study in 2014 May-7 months are conducted questionnaire. The design of the questionnaire is on the basis of the literature at home and abroad, combining with the characteristics of their own private hospital. The questionnaire concludes General data, turnover intention scale, nurse turnover intention influencing factors. The questionnaire was revised by 5 experts, the internal consistency reliability of Cronbach ’s alpha coefficient is 0.898, the questionnaire results were analyzed by SPSS16.0, using statistic alanalysis methods of descriptive statistics, independent sample t test, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis and multiple stepwise regression analysis.2 By using purpose sampling method, after informed and consented, 6 nursesturned over during December-2013 to April-2014 were interviewed in depth to find the further real reason of nurses’ turnover.Results:1 The turnover intention score of nurses in private hospitals in a city urses was 16.99 +2.91, the index value of 70.79%, scores of each dimension from high to low as follows: turnover intention III 6.29 + 0.89(78.63%), turnover intention I 5.41 + 1.36(67.63%),turnover intention II 5.29 + 1.40(66.13%). Turnover intention is higher in high-level nurses which accounted for 92.7% of the total.2 Score of the nurse turnover intention influencing factors in question na- ire of each dimension from high to low is: salary(3.76+ 0.99), working pressure(3.47+1.24), the working environment(3.26+ 0.98), interpersonal relationship and management(3.17+ 0.99), personal development(2.66 + 1.04).3 The demographic variables of different ages, institution graduated from,different departments,different professional titles, the average night shift in different months, the hours ofovertimeindifferent weeks, the average monthly income of nurse have significant effects(P<0.05) on turnover intention.4 Five influencing factorsof the nurses’ turnover intention and the correl- ated turnover intention showed that, work stress and turnover intention was positively correlated(P<0.01), interpersonal relationshipand manageme- nt, personal development, salary and welfare, and working environment are negatively correlated with turnover intention(P<0.01).5 Multi-factor Stepwise regression analysis showed: the pressure of work and professional titles have significant positive predictive effect on turnover intention of nurses, the salary, the average monthly income, interpersonal relationship and management of nurse turnover intention has Sig- nificant negative prediction effect, influence from significant to ins- ignificant order of salary and welfare, the average monthly income, work pressure, interpersonal relationship and the management, and professional title.6 Interview results show: salary, characteristics of private hospitals, the property of the work,support system,turnover of colleagues, the chance to workare the main factors that influence the turnover intention of nurses in private hospitals.Conclusions:1 Nurses turnover intention of the private hospitals in a city is at a higher level, nurses with relatively high and high intention accounted for 92.7%.2 Demographic statistics in the influence factors of turnover intention of nurses in private hospitals are: age, Department, professional title, the average amountofmonthlyincome, themonthlyaverageof thenightshift number overtime amount per week.3 salary andw elfare, the average monthly income, work pressure e, interpersonal relationship and management, professional title are significa- ntpredictors of the private hospital nurses’ turnover intention, job stress and job title have significant positive predictive effect on turnover intention of nurses, salary and welfare, the average monthly income, interpers- oinal relationship and management of nurse turn over intention has asignificant negative prediction effect.4 To extract the main factors of turnover intention of nurses in private hospitals in the interview show:salary, characteristics of private hospital, job stress,support system, colleagues’ turnover, job opportunities.5 The influence factors on turnover intention of nurses, by recruiting nur- ses match the hospitals characteristics, Better the occupation planning, impro- ve the performance appraisal system,improve the nurses’ work environment, e- nhance the professional quality, build a harmonious team to propose the countermeasures.
