Objective: The dissertation analyzes the turnover intention of nursing staff in Shihezi City Hospital(the First Affiliated Hospital of Shihezi University Medical College) using the method of census, analyzes the situation of turnover intention of nursing staff in Shihezi City Hospital, compare the differences of turnover intention among the different background, and analyzes the factors of turnover intention of nursing staff. The dissertation provides the theoretic basis that suit for the local actual conditions and pointed human resource management for managers, so as to maintain the high-quality nursing staff, reduce the turnover intention of nursing staff, improve the situation of lack of nursing staff, stabilize the nursing staff, guarantee the service quality of nursing staff. Method: In this study, the research object is in nurses of the 3 A-level General Hospital of Shi He Zi. Inclusion criteria: ①Holds the people’s Republic of China professional certificate of nursing; ②In the survey department engaged in nursing work is equal to or more than 1 year; ③To participate in this topic research. Exclusion criteria: ①No Nurse Practitioner Certificate; ②For learning, study, and other matters not post who leave. The total number of people sampled by cluster sampling was 693, and the effective questionnaire was 508. The questionnaire was developed and adopted by the researcher on the basis of reading the literature and consulting the relevant experts. The questionnaire consists of 3 parts:①General information: including sex, age, nursing-age, education, marriage, title, job, employment form, promotion opportunity, etc.②Turnover intention scale;③ Working pressure gauge. Collect and investigate the data and establish the database in the Epi Data3.0 Chinese version. Of double entry and the integrity of the database is formed by double entry error detection, so that the subsequent data analysis, and computer logic check program error checking of data logic.Analysis of turnover intention using SPSS17.0 software.The general situation of the sample, basic demographic characteristics and the intention of the separation of the dimensions of the score were descriptive analysis.The differences of the turnover intention between the different demographic characteristics were compared by using the single factor analysis of variance(Inspection level α=0.05, Bilateral). For the single factor analysis, the factors that may influence the turnover intention were analyzed by stepwise regression analysis. Result:1.The total average turnover intention of nurses was 2.66 + 0.63.According to the grade division standards to judge the overall level of turnover intention of nursing staff, the number of distribution ratio of the 4 levels: 6 people of very low(1.18%), 203 people of the lower(39.96%), 220 people of higher(43.31%),79 people of high(15.55%). For the number of high and very high level of turnover intention reached a total number of 58.86%. The 3 dimension scores in turn from high to low: turnover intention III: opportunities and the possibility of getting external job(2.84 + 0.60),turnover intention of I: the possibility to quit present job(2.63 + 0.80), turnover intention II: having the motivation of looking for other work(2.51 + 0.82).2.The total average score of the nursing staff working pressure is 2.58 + 0.53. The 5 dimension scores in turn from high to low: workload and time distribution(3.02 + 0.78), nursing and working property(2(2.82 + 0.61), working environment and resources(2.62 + 0.88),(2.58 + 0.59) profession and technology, management and interpersonal relations(2.16 + 0.66).3.Single factor analysis of variance indicated that age, nursing age, job, employment forms, promotion opportunities and department atmosphere impact on nursing staff turnover intention(P < 0.05).4.The correlation analysis showed that the total score of the nursing staff working pressure and the dimension scores were positively associated with turnover intention(P < 0.01).5.Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that factors of turnover intention including department atmosphere, promotion opportunities and age, the 3 factors can explain 30% of the total variability. Conclusion:1. The overall level of the turnover intention of nurses is relatively high in the 3 A-level General Hospital of Shi He Zi.2.Age, nursing age, job and employment forms have the different affect on promotion opportunities and department atmosphere of nursing staff turnover intention.3.Department atmosphere, promotion opportunities and age are the main affect factors of turnover intention of nursing staff.4.Work stress is positively related to turnover intention.
