Clinical Research On The Effect Of Acupuncture And Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction For The Treatment Of Phlegm Headache

Objective:To give full play to the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture combined with Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction for the treatment of Phlegm Headache efficacy and mechanism, resulting in clinical improvement of headache treatment method and improving the clinical efficacy.Methods:In accordance with the phlegm headache diagnostic criteria chose60cases from wards and clinics.The cases were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with30cases in each group. The treatment group were treated with acupuncture combined with Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction,and the control group were treated with Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction only. The two groups were observed after treatment of two weeks on Headache VAS score and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score The data were statistically analyzed by SPSS17.0software.Results:(1) After treatment, Headache VAS scores of two groups were compared before and after treatment, there are significant differences (P<0.05)(2) After treatment, traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores of two groups were compared before and after treatment, there are significant differences (P<0.05).(3)After treatment, the total effective rate of treatment group was90.00%,The total effective rate of control group was76.67%,Statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05)Conclusion:(1)Both Acupuncture combined with Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction and Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction have effect on the therapy of Phlegm Headache. (2) Acupuncture combined with Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction has better effect on the therapy of Phlegm Headache, and it is a effective and reliable treatment for Phlegm Headache.
