The Clinical Study On Treatment Of Urinary Incontinence After Stroke By Baliao Point With Needle Warming Moxibustion

Objective:to introduce treatment of urinary incontinence after stroke by baliao point with needle warming moxibustion and to evaluate its outcome.Methods:In this study, patients with urinary incontinence after stroke for the objects of the study,60patients were randomly divided into treatment group (needle warming moxibustion group) and control group (conventional acupuncture group),30cases each. All the patients were given regular treatment of stroke. Based on this, the treatment group was give needle warming moxibustion by using baliao point and acupuncture by using Zhongji point, Pangguangshu point, Shenshu point, Sanyinjiao point. Baliao points are divided into two groups, each group of four points, the next day a group. The control group was given only acupuncture by using Zhongji point, Pangguangshu point, Shenshu point, Sanyinjiao point. Two groups were acupunctured each day,6days for a course of treatment, each course of treatment at intervals of1day, effect was observed after3treatments. Before treatment and after treatment, we get the in the level of assessment and observation of patients with clinical symptoms score changes for urinary incontinence.Results:1. Both treatment and control group showed significant difference after intervention (P<0.05), which suggested therapeutic effective for both groups. The treatment group got better curative effects than those of control group, and the difference were statistically significant (P<0.05).2. After the treatment, in the treatment group, the total effective rate was about93.3%and76.7%. Effects of treatment group was superior to the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:1. Needle warming moxibustion by using baliao points for treatment of urinary incontinence after stroke, the efficacy is superior to conventional acupuncture group. 2. Needle warming moxibustion by using baliao points for treatment of urinary incontinence after stroke, the efficacy is remarkable, can significantly improve clinical symptoms.3. Needle warming moxibustion by using baliao points for treatment of urinary incontinence after stroke is a kind of effective method, is helpful to enhance the acupuncture effect.
