Objective:Through the detection of serum leptin (LP), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), osteocalcin (OC/BGP), interleukin6(IL-6) and bone mineral density (BMD) to observe the effect of neuromuscular facilitation techniques on hemiplegic patients after stroke, evaluate the treatment value of neuromuscular facilitation techniques on post-stroke hemiplegic limbs osteoporosis. Methods:Using case-control studies, select52cases admitted to our hospital from January2011to January2012, the first stroke patients with hemiplegia (onset within3days of hospitalization), and stratified randomly into treatment group and control group with26cases in each group, the control group received conventional treatment, the treatment group received neuromuscular facilitation technique treatment early (within14days) on the basis of conventional treatment. Detect serum leptin (LP), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), osteocalcin (BGP), interleukin6(IL-6) and bone mineral density (BMD) of all included objects in the second day of admission and6months after the treatment, and the above-mentioned indicators were analyzed statistically. Results:The serum leptin (LP), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), osteocalcin (BGP), interleukin6(IL-6) and bone mineral density (BMD) in the second day of admission had no statistically significant differences between the two groups (P>0.05). The above indicators of patients6months later after the onset of stroke were compared respectively, and the results are as follows:The bone mineral density(BMD) of healthy limbs were compared between two groups and had no statistically significant difference (P>0.05).The bone mineral density(BMD) of hemiplegic limbs were compared between two groups and had statistically significant difference(P <0.05).The bone mineral density(BMD) of hemiplegic limbs in treatment group patients had no statistically significant difference compared with the healthy limbs in treatment group patients(P>0.05).The bone mineral density(BMD) of hemiplegic limbs in control group patients had statistically significant difference compared with the healthy limbs in control group patients(P<0.01).The plasma level of LP in treatment group was significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.05).The plasma level of ALP in treatment group was significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.05).The plasma level of BGP in treatment group was significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.01).The plasma level of IL-6in treatment group was significantly lower than that of control group(P<0.01).Conclusions:Bone mineral density and bone metabolic markers six months after the onset of stroke patients with hemiplegia were significantly abnormal. Neuromuscular facilitation techniques can affect the hemiplegic stroke patients with bone metabolic markers, increasing bone mineral density in hemiplegic limbs; Neuromuscular facilitation techniques should be given to the hemiplegic stroke patients on the basis of conventional drug therapy early to prevent and treat osteoporosis.
