Objective:To study the systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE) risk factors for atherosclerosis and explore the correlation of the atherosclerotic in SLE and blood stasis syndrome(BSS). Methods:According to established classified criteria of systemic lupus erythematosus by the American College of Rheumatology in1977,the diagnosis criteria of blood stasis syndrome by "Chinese Native Medicine New Medicine Clinical Research Guiding Principle" in2002and the " Marking Standards for Blood Stasis Diagnosis " of Jie Wang and Keji Chen,a card was designed to value the blood stasis of70cases.Patients were divided into SLE BSS group,SLE non-BSS group and non-SLE non-BSS group.Triglyceride(TG)、total cholesterol(TC)、high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)、 low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)、blood sedimentation(ESR)、C-reactive protein(CRP)、D-Dimer(D-D)、anticardolipin antibodies (ACA) and carotid intima-metia thickness (IMT) were detected.IMT、diagnosis score、biochemical indexes in different groups were statistically processed.Results:(1)There were no difference significant in sex and age among the three groups (P>0.05),the pathogenesis of SLE BSS group was longer than SLE non-BSS group (P<0.05).(2)there were difference significant in TG、HDL-C between SLE group and control group, however TG、HDL-C were no obvious difference significant between SLE BSS group and SLE non-BSS group(P>0.05).(3)blood sedimentation of SLE group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.01),there were difference significant in blood sedimentation、CRP and D-D between SLE BSS group and SLE non-BSS group(P<0.05).(4)ACA of SLE BSS group was higher than SLE non-BSS group (P<0.05).(5)IMT of SLE BSS group was significantly thicker than SLE non-BSS group and control group(P<0.01).(6)IMT of SLE group related closely to BSS.Conclusion:Blood stasis is common and correlation to the activity of SLE.The degree of the BSS is related to the pathogenesis in SLE.Besides traditional risk factors, the high risk of atherosclerosis in SLE including inflammatory factor、hypercoagulable states and specific antibody. There was positive correlation between the atherosclerosis in SLE and BSS.It implies that the blood stasis may be the risk factor of the atherosclerosis and using the method of activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis is helpful to postpone the development of the atherosclerosis.
