| Objective:Professor Xu Jingfan’s career in medicine for more than60years, diagnosis and treatment of GERD has a unique experience. In this study we collect the cases based on syndrome differentiation by Professor Xu Jingfan on treating GERD.Observing the evaluation of therapeutic and influence on life quality on gastroesophageal reflux disease.Methord:Syndrom differentiation according to Professor Xu Jingfan’s standards, collected94cases of GERD, including15cases of the virtual Qi stagnation,67cases of stagnated heat of liver stomach,12cases of phiegm-Qi stagnation. Respectively,affording patients with traditional Chinese medicine treatment as smoothing Qi to relieve the depressive syndrome,reducing the liver-stomach-fire.removing phlegm and mass for8weeks. Observing the TCM syndrome score and PRO scale score of diffrent kinds of syndrome patients changes before treatment and after treatment. The information collected will be used by Excel to establish a database and analyzed statistically.Results:(1) The total effective rate was up to80.9%. Three clinical syndromes of total effective rate was80.0%,82.1%,75.0%, no significant difference (P>0.05).(2) In the improvement of chest pain, heartburn, the acid, food reverse flow which are the major symptoms and difficulty swallowing, sleep disorders, nausea and vomiting which are the nonspecific symptoms, before and after treatment have obvious difference(P<0.05). Comparison among the different syndroms, no significant difference (P>0.05).(3)Three syndromes in patients with physical, psychological, independence and social environment scores and total score are significantly improved than the PRO before treatment (P<0.05). Comparison of the different syndroms, no significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusions:The treatment of GERD by Professor Xu Jingfan Definite effect.IT can improve clinical symptoms, increase patients’quality of life. It’s worthing clinical promotion. |
